EXACTLY. So can anyone delete the account?

Fri Nov 04, 2005 2:13 pm

^^ So you're planning to spam just to reacquire your post count?
Bastard. :shake: :x

Fri Nov 04, 2005 2:21 pm

No, but losing 1,535 posts and your account would suck! Plus chezzy62 is an inactive account, so I can't log in to change the name.

There just posts man. You can get it back easily cause you post about 20X a day.

Okay, I've come to the conclusion that there is a limit to the length of a post because I can't get the bottom of the Patch Index to show up. Can a mod somehow give me a post directly after my first two in the Index so I can split the Index into three parts instead of two?

To qualify as a mod you have to perform a broadway musical for Andrew first. Either that or try to beat him in a game of battleship while trying to get a dog to commit hara kiri with a potato chip.

That's only necessary if you have acid reflux disease or you lose your voice approximately 6 hours before the scheduled performance.

Where can the interested multitudes of people buy tickets for the performance?
Andrew?

Sun Nov 27, 2005 2:51 am

I've been trying to be a mod for like 10 months.

I think you blew your chances once you made it public that you masturbate to Andrew's posts. :shifty:

He can't be that surprised... I've been telling him the same thing in PM's for months

Sun Nov 27, 2005 9:09 am

Nah, it's not that he was surprised. He just didn't want such private moments getting revealed on the forums. :shake:

Sorry, but this thread isn't here to request moderator status. Also, with all due respect I'd rather mods have been around the forum a little longer than you have and be more prominent members of the forum willing to help keep the forum tidy, deal with conflicts, etc.

For anyone who actually wants to be a mod, the best way to prove yourself is to be a good forum citizen and contribute to the forum. A lot of people seem to want to be moderators just for the sake of it, or so it would seem. Unfortunately I have had some bad experiences with some moderator appointments in years past so I'd rather that a poster displays qualities that would suggest they can do the job before I try them out with mod status, especially as we've got some great people helping out with the forum which means I can be more selective about giving out mod duties and we're not exactly desperate for help.

By all means, offer your services if you're willing to help out, but please understand if you haven't been around for very long, aren't really visible or are unsuitable for some other reason, I'm more inclined to say thanks but no thanks to your offer. ;)

Andrew , I'm not implying I want to be a mod or anything , but do you send invitations to people if you think they have the responsibility of a mod? Or do they ask you and you accept or deny?? I am just curious , you don't need to answer if you don't want too .

Fri Dec 02, 2005 3:54 pm

I got an invitation, I think some people *cough*matthew*cough* pushed for it a bit but I did get a PM invite.

These days I don't usually accept many offers outright, I usually like to watch posters to see if I think they would be good moderators and then get back to them if I think they'll be suitable. I'd also approach people if I think they'd be good mods to see if they're interested. And of course, team members make suggestions.
