NYC Floods

Hope anyone living in/around NYC is doing okay after that craziness last night. Never seen it rain so hard like this in such a short amount of time. I live in da Bronx and work in Manhattan. Subway service was suspended, so I worked from home today. Hopefully mass transit will be fully running Friday.

I felt for all those motorists whose cars were ruined in all that water. If I see a huge puddle, I'm going the other way.

I've seen some videos of the flooding. Reminds me a bit of the storm and flooding we experienced here in Newcastle way back in 2007, when the Pasha Bulker ran aground. Glad to hear you're safe!
