Or you can just have bias and argue for arguments sake to support what you believe because it makes you feel better.

Vince Carter and Shawn Marion are the one carrying the Mavs right now. Crazy, and with Dirk scoring 25 against the Hornets seems like the first time the Mavs win with Dirk scoring 20+.

I think the Lakers will make the playoffs. Amount of favorable calls they got against the Blazers made me realize how much league wants it. One of them being obvious reach-in foul by metta yet they review vid and award the ball to the Lakers in critical possession with 50 seconds remaining.

I think they intentionally called the Batum 3 pointer a 2 initially because they knew if by good chance the video replay wasnt conclusive enough the 2 pointer would remain, which is what happened.

You could see daylight in the replay between his left foot and the line but it was so faint. I doubt the dumbass ref actually saw anything clearly. He just decided to bone the Blazers and make the on floor call a 2 instead of a 3. Why the fuck could he not call it a 3 and then check replay? FUck you ass wipe. They rubbed their assholes all over us.

Lakers might suck now. But I still believe that they have a good chance to get the Conference finals if they make it to the playoffs not through the referee calls but with Kobe and Howard playing like they are expected.

I don't know about that, let's see them actually get into the playoff picture first. They're starting to win games they should against weaker opponents but outside of a couple of games, they've not done that well against the top teams in the West. I don't think it would be wise to sleep on them or rule them out completely, but having said that I don't like their chances of winning four out of seven against the likes of the Spurs, Thunder or even the Clippers, especially without homecourt advantage.

Not thru the referee calls? LoL.

That's what happens when your peanut sized market team tries to steal a game from the Lakers by suddenly going for 10+ lead rudely at the end of third quarter. You could almost hear the referees saying enough is enough.

David Stern's got less than a year left before he calls it a day, so he's running out of time to exert his authority. Five game suspensions all around!

Maybe he's trying to stop Hibbert? Then Hibbert mistakes it as going at him. Stephen Curry was got elbowed and was shoved then got drag in to the floor, poor guy

Dirk with 21 points and 20 rebounds but the Mavs lose. FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

Standard stuff, sounds fair to me. Guess I was wrong about Stern overreacting.

Stephen Curry is having a nearly 50 point game right now.

And crazy last second shot by Ellis against the Rockets.

Crazy night continuing.

Echoing my thoughts from the Knicks and Warriors threads, that was a great game to watch. Fun shootout at the end with a couple of players putting up big numbers (Curry's 54 points, Chandler's 28 rebounds), one of the best games I've watched so far this season. Good stuff.

I think Curry is somehow motivated from the fact that he didn't make the All-Stars.

At one point I thought Curry would break the record for most 3s in a game, shame they couldn't get the win

Will or why should LeBron participate in the Slam Dunk Contest? The last thing that's gonna tempt LeBron is money. And if he were to do that, he will not be keeping that money, he will be donating that money. So, if LeBron doesn't take the offer, people are gonna say that he doesn't do charity, he is selfish. Which couldn't have been more wrong because LeBron does more charity than any other guy in the league. That is all if, LeBron wins the Slam Dunk Contest after just not being able to resist the Magic Johnson 1mil offer.

I would love to see LeBron rcoking it in a contest, but I don't think pressuring him into it is gonna be ideal. Also, clear point here that Magic just wants to see LeBron fail.

So, thoughts?

Watched two games tonight. Heat vs Grizz and followed by Nuggets vs Thunder. Both games were awesome especially the Nuggets' Lawson hitting the game winner. Durant was pretty well guarded all night long. Wilson Chandler often times did a very nice job on him. Not sure why Galinari was taking on Durant in last two minutes or so.

As for the Heat, LeBron was able to pad the stats with something like 5 or 6 freethrows in the game end. So the stats don't look as horrible as it's supposed to be, as shooting was just awful all night long. But other than that, he did play very well, getting teammates' easy shots over and over and also with rebounding, thus not disrupting team offense/defense despite the poor shooting outings.

I think it'd be cool to see LeBawn in dunkon. As for the media being a bully to LeBawn by building pressure, and making hypes, it's quite a norm as a lot of fans have been starving for superstars in dunkon for quite awhile now. Whether or not you think he's being a dick for not granting fans' wish...

Why would Magic want to see LeBron fail? I think it is a good thing to see him in the dunk contest to bring back real hype to the contest which sucked for these past years. If LeBron doesn't want to participate the it is his choice and everybody should respect that.
