Smart move. Better to dump the bitch now than lose half in a divorce.

I just saw this at RealGM... to be fair, if I were a multi millionaire basketball player I'd want something a little better too. That being said there's always been rumours about Jefferson's sexuality, so who knows. Wouldn't mind being one of his friends with that credit card though.

Harsh. Of course, this wasn't a particularly smart move:
He never showed up at the hotel, but "all his boys were there," the friend said. "He gave his best friend the Black Amex [credit card] for the night."
Jefferson's guests made good use of the credit card to party on their pal's dime.

Never give your credit card away at a big party or you'll get the bill like :

hahaha.

Man, that's peanuts compared to how much RJ would lose if he married(then divorced) that chick.

Nah just give your friends the credit card with only $500 on it. I'm sure Jefferson would have done this, NBA players aren't stupid

(except for Kobe)

It's a Black AMEX, the minimum spend on it is something like $250,000 a year.

That is a lot more than $500

I'll bet Black Amex has a new car.

We'll see how he reacts after the bills arrive.

He wouldnt react to much considering its only up to $250,000 but if it were a million then his reaction would be like this..

^ hahaha.. nice one Lamrock..
If RJ decides to get married again then getting a prenuptial agreement would be the best way to go..

wow never saw her before, she looks like she belongs on a stage with a pole in the middle of it though

Well.....is that a bad thing????
Just don't marry them, that's all. I'll never figure out why these cats, with all their loot, bother to get hitched. Sooner or later, the bitch will scream, "HALF"!!!!!!!!!!!
That's why Derek Jeter's the man.

Exactly, these ppl are giving up a lifetime of "any girl you want any day of the year"

and what are they getting? the man made prison that is marriage

i just dont understand what is going on upstairs, sounds like they've been brainwashed into "love"

In all fairness, marriage does seem to work out for a lot of people...just not most celebrities. But that's another topic altogether.

Divorce rate is over 50%, and those who don't divorce probably a large portion of them only stay together so the kids have foundation. In fact, my belief is, if you do marry and you have kids then you owe it to the kids to stay together (unless of course there is domestic violence)

Are you applauding your own point there?

That's a pretty bleak outlook, but you're entitled to it.

Kids come first, its not their fault the parents created them before thinking. I've seen what happens to kids who don't have a foundation. Of course the answer is, don't have kids, they aren't just for the purpose of people's amusement. And no I don't mean all couples have kids without thinking, but plenty live a fairly loveless marriage yet have kids for the sake of it

I don't think it's fair to say that all couples that get divorced and who have children didn't think ahead. Times change, people change, circumstances change. Things happen. But like I said, that's your view and you're entitled to it.
Fri Jul 17, 2009 1:43 pm
If circumstances do change that isn't a greenlight to get divorced. You've had kids, now see them through to their adulthood. It is a moral responsibility. And this is coming from someone who will never want to have kids
