Green stepped up big time. He deserves more credit for that, for sure.

I wouldn't say missing wide open shot after wide open shot being a product of Cavs' adjustments. Boston blew it.

Exactly. 7-39 threes in your own building, with a ton being wide open, had nothing to do with adjustments. Also missed shots that were closer.

Totally blew it, Lue didn't do shit. And everybody here knows that.

You're pushing the respect I have for you old man, don't make me find out where you live.

With the exception of Tatum and Horford, Celitcs choked away game 7.
It wasn't a defensive game, it was an abhorrent display of dumpster fire offense, only difference is LeBron and his teammates made it count when it mattered.

Critics of LeClutch will ignore the fact that he carried his team to a series win against the better team. The narrative of the Celtics being the better team when they were up 2-0 will now be changed to LeBron only won it against an inferior team because the Celtics didn't have Irving and Hayward playing.

I've been highly dismissive of Lue but after watching Stevens postgame conference this series of him revealing not so obvious details of Cavs adjustments like the way the Cavs handled defending the Celtics screens that's only noticeable up close and not in a monitor I'd say what the Cavs did defensively still factored in affecting the Celtics missing their shots this series.
Same way I was always critical of D'Antoni in coaching defense, I gotta give him credit in how he got the Rockets playing good transition defense, that is until their offense stinks up and affects their effort on playing defense.

Stevens postgame is a must watch. First I thought it was his way of gloating for getting the win by revealing he knows the little details his opposition does but it seems like he does it win or lose if a reporter bothered to ask a good question.

Man do I hate the number of threes they attempted and bricked. They have a manageable lead that they blew off because of very cluttered offense plus Lebron's teammates finally picking up the slack in the second half.

As much as I don't want to have another Cavs-Warriors finals, the Celtics really choked this one up. Although credit to Tatum for dunking on Lebron.

Pressure makes diamonds

It was an improbable terrific season for the young Celtics. It was a shame to see them go down like that missing all those shots and especially getting beat down court by G hill on a key possession. They'll be back

Kudos to the Cavs players and coaching staff

It was an odd game. The Cavs outscoring the Celts in transition, Celts shooting 50% from long 2 (take that analytics lol), and Lue pulling a thibs and riding his starters to the ground

LeBron James. Wow.
Jump.
