Aldridge was really exposed, especially when he tried to post up. He couldn't overpower or outmanoeuvre anyone who matched him in size, and his shooting touch evaporated.

Aldridge is naturally passive. He played with a chip on his shoulder in the middle of his career to overcome his "soft" label. Now he doesn't have that mental edge anymore and his whole game looks mediocre.

It certainly does show. The talent's there as it's always been, but the killer instinct and consistency isn't.
