Simmons bone fracture

Postby Jackal on Sun Oct 02, 2016 12:46 am

As Embiid prepares to finally make his professional debut in his third season, Simmons goes down with a fracture in the fifth metatarsal of his right foot – which likely means he’s out for months, not weeks.

This sucks, I hope it whatever treatment they choose works for him and he doesn't have foot issues from it.

So many eyes were on him, I am also greatly disappointed.

Kids today outgrow their feet that they just can't sustain. I hope Sauru is ok.

Terrible luck, but hopefully only a minor setback in the grand scheme of things.

Might be a coincidence but I was worried when he put on 30 odd pounds in 3 months. That can never be a good thing.

Ingham said the same thing when over the summer the Lakers asked him to bulk up more, not sure what weight/muscle he added but he said he knew to take it easy and not rush it due to the strain on the legs it can do.
