This is something that we've been doing for a while, but we haven't had much luck with it the past couple of years as far as a lot of people joining in and continuing to play throughout the season. However, since the 2017 season is looming, I thought I'd create the thread and see what kind of interest there is, if any.
The game is pretty straightforward. Every day, you pick the winners of the day's games, making sure to get your picks in before the game begins (or at the very latest, within the first quarter; there's no money on the line, so we can be a bit lenient). Everyone keeps track of their running score, and at the end of the season, we see how we all fared. Anyone can jump in at any time, but if you start late or miss a few days, your total score is obviously going to be lower. When it comes to the final leaderboard, I'd suggest that the cut-off be around 861 games predicted (ie 70% of the season); it's not really fair if we declare a winner who entered on the last day and went 12/12, or whatever.
So, that's the basic premise. Let me know if you're interested!
