Derrick Rose is an Iron man, he played in the bulls win over the magic in last night's game with stomach ulcers.

Austin Daye puts up another solid fourth quarter with 19 points and 9 rebounds. He gacked the last alley-oop for the win, but all-in-all it's good to see him playing really well.

The HEAT won, glad to see that, although that looked like a foul by James Jones in the end. Still, awesome play by Kuester, with 2.7 left, I was sure they were going with a jumper to T-Mac or Gordon.

Mavs with a slow start, then going hot in the fourth. Dirk seems to be with back.

Not to downplay the discomfort of stomach ulcers, but as much as I like Rose I'm not sure that's the most courageous display of fortitude we've seen in professional sports.

Pfft, I doubt it's even the sever case of ulcer Rose had.

or in Bulls history for that matter

Wade and Bosh back, I hope they can win 2night.
Mon Jan 31, 2011 6:43 am
Hell yeah, Eddie House and Joel Anthony brought the win. House with his three and free throws, and Joel with his hustle to get the offensive board late.

Good. With Bosh and Wade back, OKC never had a chance.
I watched LAL vs BOS this afternoon, and the Celtics truly were the better team today. The Lakers seem to be not as good as last season. Less motivated probably.

End of the third in NYC and Greg Monroe (14 points, 16 rebounds) is throughly out-playing Amar'e (21 points, 2 rebounds).

All I saw was Kobe out there. He seemed to be the only one motivated to win. Bynum and Gasol just never got back on defense after Celtics stops in the last quarter, Celtics bigs just hustled a lot more than they did. Still, I love that the Celts won.

Great game by Gortat (25 points(FG 9-10) and 11 rebounds in 24 minutes.).

Now
that was definitely overkill by the league.
What?

Typical.
What was with Mark Jackson during the Celts-Suns game? "No, you can't call [being underneath a shooter when he attempts to land] a foul, because you're taught as a defender to contest!" Never mind that a) KG hit him in the groin first and b) you could say the same thing about any shooting foul ever.

Is "It's Mark Jackson" an acceptable answer?

Mama, there goes that man!

Clippers-Bucks game is very entertaining tonight.

What's with Rick Carlisle starting Dallas 2nd mascot Brian Cardinal? He almost injures Tyson Chandler.
Dirk with 24 points on 7-11 shooting and 8-8 from the line.

As expected, Cavs fell last 4 in a row against top teams. 21 in total so far. Reminds me of Vancouver Grizzlies...
Tue Feb 01, 2011 5:45 pm
That's disrespectful to those Grizzlies. This Cavs team would be sub-.500 in the D-League.
Tue Feb 01, 2011 6:26 pm
Well... seems like Cavs wants to break their own record in longest losing streak.

Nothing against the Cavs but much like the Nets' 0-18 start and close call on the all-time worst regular season record last season, I kind of want to see them make history since they're so close to it.
