DAMN!!!! WHAT A THREE BY RASHAD ANDERSON TO TIE THE GAME UP AT 82!!! WASHINGTON AND UCONN ARE HEADED TO OVERTIME!! THE TWO HUSKIES TEAMS CONTINUE TO DUEL IT OUT :!:

Damn what a great tournament this year, I watched Nova-BC and it was just sick.
Villanova struggles the first half, BC the second.
But overall a great game and ending, especially since I had Nova in my bracket winning this and I really want them to win it all (picked UConn).

I hope Nova get bounced in a blowout, I really do....they got lucky with some really dodgy calls late in that game....BC played a pretty average game for them, but at least my man, Jared Dudley gave them a chance to send it to OT....

just don't like that Nova team, have disliked them since I saw them for the 1st time this season....now that BC is out, it would nice to see a team like George Mason make the Final Four & if they can't win it all, then how about Florida, UCLA or at worst, UConn....

I hate to admit it, but I like that Duke team better than that Nova team which is saying a lot

I've been partial to the Nova team since 1) my mom went there and 2) they have a great radio network ;). I doubt they will get blown out this year , they fight hard and if they lose it will be in the final minute or a buzzer beater.

Although it would be great to see George Mason in the four (they are a few miles across the potomac river in Virginia) it is highly unrealistic. They play UConn in the next round , and although it will be another close game I think UConn pulls it out.

BTW : that Rashard Anderson three was amazing to tie it , I thought that game was over when they were down by 5 at one point but Uconn rallied. (Y)

Texas and UCLA should both win today. Memphis is good but they have played light competition and haven't been challenged in the tournament , they should face a real challenge in UCLA tonight.

the worst thing about Morrison crying was that he was doing it before the game was decided. the Zags were only 1pt down when he started sobbing

Word, what a wanker he is. He was crying while I think Pargo tried to inbound the ball. But Morrison wasn't open (was he even standing?) so he just threw it upcourt. He should've just demanded the ball and try to make something happen even if it was almost a lost cause.

And he looks ridiculous too (not just the stache) because his hair is way to long and I think he hasn't brushed his hair in about 3 weeks and then the t-shirt under his jersey. :shake:

hehe i don't care much for the look. seems like he's having some fun/drawing attention to himself...

but yeh- this is the same guy who is leading the college in scoring, suppposedly be this great competitor, a contender for the college player of the year. I was pretty disappointed seeing him give up :x

Oh my goodness, the LSU-Texas game is going down to the wire. From a minute to about thirty something seconds left, there was a mad scramble, with Texas down three. Texas tries to shoot a midrange but gets it block, they get it back, a Texas guard loses the ball, LSU tries to save it from going out of bounds to keep possession, they do save it but give it right back to Texas. A texas player then tries another three, it gets blocked, but they get it right back and hit the three to tie! Amazing.

Sun Mar 26, 2006 1:01 pm

yep, I knew Texas wouldn't make it to Final Four, just didn't know if it would be Duke of LSU doing it....guess it was LSU, congrats to them....

same with Memphis, they were never a Final Four team, couldn't handle the pressure, figured it would be UCLA to advance & they did....

all we need to see now is Florida to be 'Nova & GMU to beat UConn (won't happen I don't think) & we'll have no No. 1 teams left :P

That would fuck up my bracket big time. I didn't have any of the two teams that are already in the Final Four.

don't worry, you're still going to win it all, I checked your bracket & you can't really lose I don't think

I managed to jump up to 3rd place with the UCLA win....provided UConn make it to the Final Four (which they should) & 'Nova doesn't, which is always a 50-50, last second shot prospect, then I'll come 2nd, which is alright considering the amount of last second losers I've had this tourney

Mon Mar 27, 2006 7:44 am

UConn on the verge of being eliminated to a mid-major. Regardless of who wins , this game was amazing , as were many of the other games in the tournament. March Madness is amazing! (Y)

Mon Mar 27, 2006 7:52 am

OH MY GOODNESS, GMU NEARLY MAKES A HUGE UPSET, BUT THEY MISS A FREE THROW AND UCONN COMES BACK THE OTHER WAY. DENHAM BROWN MAKES A REVERSE LAYUP THAT IS SHOT RIGHT BEFORE THE BUZZER AND GOES IN!! WE ARE GOING TO OVERTIME!! WHAT A CRAZY TOURNAMENT IT HAS BEEN!!

EDIT: Denham Brown bailed them out once, but he cant in overtime, GEORGE MASON PULLS OFF THE UPSET AND IS IN THE FINAL FOUR!

Mon Mar 27, 2006 8:11 am

It's over! It's an upset! Damn that was a good game. GM's on a roll now. :o

Mon Mar 27, 2006 9:11 am

shit george mason in the final four......

there goes eveyones bracket...

Mon Mar 27, 2006 9:20 am

That's 2 of my final four picks eliminated. UCLA managed to win , and Villanova is still alive. Hopefully Nova can pull out a victory.

With the champion I picked eliminated I must now root for local teams. Go George Mason!

Mon Mar 27, 2006 11:43 am

Dam hopefully my 1st place stays intact through the final four.

im up with 730pts. (Y)

Mon Mar 27, 2006 11:49 am

lol i have no more in my final four. oh well.

fuckin insane.

Mon Mar 27, 2006 10:10 pm

what a great game....I don't care that my shot of finishing No. 2 in the brackets went....I would happily finish last to have what happenned today....that George Mason game was great....this is why I love college basketball....also glad Florida won, I guess BC took it out of 'Nova after all 8-)

I still have UCLA in Final Four, but since I don't have them winning, my bracket is finished

go Patriots :P

Congrats, it's kind of over now lol. All my Final Four picks are out.
I wish I could say let's just watch the Final Four as a neutral basketball fan, but for me, coverage has stopped after the Sweet 16.

Sun Apr 02, 2006 10:06 am

Sun Apr 02, 2006 11:38 am
