nothing like a 3 game losing streak to make today's game vs. Philly a must win

Rose is a game time decision and Gasol is out.

Noah gets the nod as the center. Reports of Noah "not being happy" surfaced this week. he's been dreadful since returning from the shoulder injury. Noah-Taj-Niko lineup is a strange mix.

The Bulls Might Be Putting Pau Gasol, Joakim Noah And Taj Gibson On The Trade Block

“The Chicago Bulls have quietly been checking interest in one of their bigs on the frontline: Taj Gibson, Joakim Noah, and even at one point, Pau Gasol. They’re looking to get a young talent back. It doesn’t matter if it’s a defensive wing or a genuine stretch four.”

This is an ugly effort against the Sixers so far. Summing it up, Joakim Noah.

Perhaps a little off topic, but what do you Bulls fans think of Rudy Gay? I've heard a little talk here and there of Gay to Chicago as a scorer they supposedly could use.

Assuming Jo and Taj are on the way out, what structure of a deal would you be ok with on your end: Taj/Noah, Snell (we need a defender desperately, or do you value him too much), and/or the rights to our protected 1st back (if the Kings keep collapsing and the pick ends up in the top-10, it turns into 2nd rounders anyway). Is both Snell and the pick too much to ask?

I'm not sure about him. He's talented, but there's long been talk about attitude and chemistry problems.

Meanwhile, Butler has a career high 51 and counting, as the Bulls somehow have a chance not to lose the game in overtime.

Good on them for not giving up and for gutting out the OT victory after such an embarrassing deficit, but...yeah, that was an embarrassing deficit. Huge game for Butler: 53 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, three steals.

For a guy that improved every team greatly on departure? Yes, Snell and pick are bit too much.

a few years back i would be good with a Deng-Gay trade. for me, unless it's something involving Rose and Gay, i don't see it happening. WCS and Collison interest me. Even McLemore as a why not pickup. i'd include Gibson and Snell to get those 3

He hit one of those in the game hence the confidence to, unfortunately, try it again... He played like the "few games before the shoulder injury" Noah though...

Word... He's kinda ballhogging at times in the past games but can't blame him since his teammates are apathetic or less confident while his coach is running out of ideas... He got the speed and strength already but he still needs some work on his handles or perhaps it's just his small hands... Rudy Gay will not be a great tandem for Butler since that guy stops the ball on offense... They could use him for Lebron on defense though...

ET gave his best John Paxson impression on OT. I hope this trend of benching Brooks will convince him to waive his contract option so he can be packaged with what they're selling on the trade market... Ism Smith would've been a jackpot wished that he's still rotting in the Pelicans bench at the moment... Now, time to target the likes of Marcus Thornton, Brandon Rush, or perhaps Wesley Johnson. Mirotic is back to his timid self though it's the opposite regarding McBuckets!

I agree they need another wing. Johnson would be a realistic low cost option

Glad it was Moore who stepped up. He tends to get lost in the shuffle. Some big boy shots he made.

Noah is a rhythm player on offense. Sucks he loses his timing so easily. At least he is able to contribute in others areas of the game.

Lol dougie. Had to give a rewind on the dvr to make sure that was him storming down the lane for the jam

I've definitely become a fan of Moore; those were some big, cold-blooded shots indeed. Kind of got overshadowed by Butler's big game, but he kept them in the game early on in OT.

So, on the bright side...Butler's erupted by 57 points over the past two games. Let's just not focus on the distribution of those points. ;)

And, in more familiar news, Noah's out 4-6 months following shoulder surgery.

Wow, couldn't Noah wait just couple weeks before going dead for the season? Now he can't be traded. Perhaps this is good news? 1 year cheap contract rental service for Noah next year?

Noah is an expiring contract, so if a team wanted to start over and had a player the Bulls could use who wanted out, I believe they could still make a deal. It'd be a bit callous, of course, and I have no idea who this hypothetical team and player are, so...yeah.

Everyone's giving eulogy to Noah's Chicago tenure already  It'll all depend on Gasol. If he's retained Noah goes elsewhere if not he'll might re-sign. Some insiders says that the T-Wolves have interest on him though I don't know if that's still the case with what happened...

Wow. Things are getting interesting in Chicago. You guys are pretty much in Heat's position. Either rent your best big for a season and let him walk offseason. Or trade now and give up competing at high level. But I do still think the Bulls have more chance to retain the big after this season.

To be fair, it's rumoured that he' was on the trading block, so it seemed like a possibility even before he got injured.

Not sure trading for Rudy Gay would be a smart option considering what type of package you would have to send back in return unless the kings would take Noah straight up to clear cap space for them but every team will have extra cash this summer so the Kings iam sure would want picks along in that deal.

Also I don't think trading for Rudy is the smart thing to do if you have seen much of him over the years he's like a poor man's Melo from a few years ago when Melo just went iso and never passed while playing little D. In fact that was just last year!

Rudy does have talent and his numbers are alright, probably average at worst (or at best, depending on how you want to look at it). It just seems like teams fare much better after trading him, as opposed to the teams that trade for him.

Maybe the Bulls could trade for him and flip him to another team like the Hawks did with Rasheed Wallace a few back to the Pistons after one game in a Hawks uniform then start winning it all again lol

Speaking of old Pistons (and Bulls) for that matter I watched Ben Wallace's retirement, Ben's looking old now!

Safe to say the Bulls won't be retiring his number in Chi Town!
