Woot!!!

I'm pretty happy the Lakers beat the Pistons. To tell you the truth, I didnt even realize they were playing last night. I figured it was a Saturday night and they usually play on Sundays, plus I was doing homework. I'm gonna check if my friend recorded it so I can watch. 40 points on Detroit sounds too god to pass up. :)

I didn't know either , I was listening to Duke - UNC on the radio. When that game ended I went to NBA.com and saw that the Lakers were up in the 3rd and went to sleep. I just woke up now and realized LA won. Stupid west coast games.

I found out about it this morning by accident when I was checking up on european football(soccer).

That UNC-DUKE game was awesome!!! (y) So glad the Tarheels won cuz Duke has been getting the better of them for some time now. Kudos to ESPN cuz it was very creative how they presented it from different angles on each of their stations.

Mr. Bryant and his team aint playing too shabby against the Spurs tonight. Would be great to knock off the Spurs right after the Pistons.

2nd quarter and the Lakers are up by 3? To the defending champion Spurs?

edit : nevermind Spurs up by 16...it's only 3rd though

Must've been a pretty entertaining game at the end there. Kobe hit 4 threes in about 2 minutes to get them back to within 9 or something. Close, but no cigar for the Lakers.

2 of Kobe's 3's were only counted as 2, they showed replays of both of them and both his feet were clearly behind the line.

Oh well, we almost won this one, won all 3 qts but the 3rd...

Hey, at least we got a split, beating Detroit, I just pray we can beat the Hornets and overtake the 7th seed.

I'm sad they lost. Would have been a huge confidence booster if they also beat the Spurs. Unfortunate Kobe got shortchanged on the 3s.

TDoes that make him a bandwagoner? Supporting any team for the same reasons... (maybe the wrong reasons... when ur comparing to guys who are glory hunters?)

Tight game with the Hornets tonight. Hopefully they can pull this one out. Kobe is having a horrible shooting night but his shots have been falling in the last few moments of this game. Lets see how this one unfolds.

EDIT: looks like they are gonna win this one. Kobe was like 6/26 at one point but he hit 6 of his next 7 shots in the closing moments (40 pts). Odom has 17 boards with a few seconds to go.

Odom played well and kobe started the second half pretty bad but did well at the end. Good come from behind win for LA! They were down in the third!

18,17 and 6 for Odom (Y)

I seem to be slipping up when it comes to Lakers games cuz I assumed it was a 10:30 start and by the time I checked it was like 5 minutes to go in the fourth.

BTW I visited your dynasty and was reading little snippets and its seems pretty interesting. I also noticed you have a little fan base there. (y) I would read it all tonight just to catch up but I got a mid-term tomorrow so I got to get going.

Bryant just silenced the New Orleans crowd!

113-107 good win by LA...bryant did his airplane dance on the way back to the bench when he was subbed out of the game.

he like walks towards the bench and spreads his arms and starts flying around like an airplane...imagine Eugene from the WWE when he does that airplane thing but a lot less childish looking

It was pretty lame. LA is 32 - 30, there is no reason to be showing off. I'd get a little retribution for being shown up like that if I played for NOK.

Hell yeah! I've been playing the lakers team in the nba live game. And it's fun to build around kobe and his growing contract.

In my dynasty, bryant is at the end of his contract. And I have gerald green poised to take his place. green is developing well in my dynasty. Odom and Brown had to be traded for pau gasol.

So now players on the same team people predicted wouldnt sniff the playoffs cannot feel good about a tough road victory? If I was hitting those shots I'd be doing the plane dance like Kobe, maybe even break dance on center court.
