Mavs fan rooting for the Heat? I've seen it all

I'm pretty sure Houndy just hates the Lakers that much.
Here are KD's :

Weird that I am rooting for the Heat

Jeff Van Gundy calling LeBron 'the best forward defender in the league' is a big overstatement.
Also, 91-70 with 4.29 to go.

LeBron with a triple-double.

Fuck you all...

Meh... not the most convincing victory, but win is a win so I guess so that'll do. Coulda have been a better Christmas match up if the opponent was bit more worthy for the Heat though.

Fuck the Lakers... take that Lakers.

All the teams I'm rooting for lost. Looks like the same with OKC. Meh for the Blazers-Warriors
KD wasn't kidding when he said he was a gamer. Check out the face buttons on the back of the shoe.
Sun Dec 26, 2010 12:08 pm
OKC will win it.

LeBron with a triple-double performance!
Sun Dec 26, 2010 12:55 pm
LeBron's a triple double machine. He could probably average a triple double if he really put his mind to it.

KD's shoes look good, love the buttons on the back

He's got the tools to get a triple double on any given night, but I doubt he'll average a triple double for a whole season. If it were that easy, there wouldn't be only one player in league history to accomplish it. In some ways, playing with two other superstars actually hurts LeBron's chances of having a realistic opportunity to do it, since you've got Wade averaging over six rebounds and four assists a game and Bosh is averaging a little over eight rebounds per game as well.

Why were the Clips wearing their away jersey , suns wearing home jersey at Staples today?

2 of yesterday's games were on TV, one on Raptors TV, one on Sportsnet or something.
1) Raptors vs Mavericks - Truly sucky team without Dirk. Also props to Raptors as they were also undermanned.
2) Spurs vs Ladies - Lakers seriously need to regroup. Good thing Bynum finally played ok, but rest of the team failed miserably. Was somewhat funny to see Shannon keeps bricking shots after shots. Miss Vujabitch already? Possibly Lakers played worse than they did against the Heat.

I picked dallas to beat toronto but something told me that toronto would win because of no Dirk.

Tyreke Evans for the game-winner..
EPIC! haha

That's going to be buzzer beater of the year, short of someone hitting a ridiculous shot in a crucial Playoff game and even then, a gamewinner from beyond half court is difficult to top.
Fri Dec 31, 2010 12:59 am
Say what you want about spectacular dunks, game winners at the buzzer are still my favorite moments in basketball.
Fri Dec 31, 2010 1:34 am
This should be #1 at the end of the year, but when Harris made his shot, it was like 3rd or 4th.
Fri Dec 31, 2010 3:19 am
That's awesome, I don't think anyone tops that the rest of the season. And I agree with buzzy, game-winning buzzer-beaters are the best moments in basketball, especially when the home team makes one.
Fri Dec 31, 2010 3:49 am
I think its too early in the season to call that the best of the year. There will probably be a few more game winners closer to crunch time which will be deemed more important. Although, it will be tough to beat since they just gave up the lead the possession before it. Epic shot, indeed.

A couple of really weak technicals were handed out to Dwight and Amar'e during the first half of the Knicks/Magic game. As usual, they were made to look even worse when subsequent reactions by other players that should be much more likely to garner a technical under the NBA's zero tolerance approach were completely ignored by the referees. Not that they should be calling technicals left and right, but the continued inconsistency makes a lot of the technicals that are called look downright pathetic.
