Same case with me... never catch it live on telly but fortunately I know some websites video streaming replays.... as expected it's a physical, animosity driven, helter skelter game (aside the 3rd quarter)... best part is in the 4th when the Bulls begun their late run... a rite of passage for Jimmy and another MVP chant-worthy game for Joakim...
Tue Mar 11, 2014 7:37 am
Typical Bulls, right? Lose in ugly fashion to a team that's good but beatable, follow it up by beating the defending champions in overtime while holding them to just two points in the extra period. Hey, we'll all take it.

If Jo played the Heat 82 times a season, he'd be the MVP every year.

I'll go ahead be an idiot and call that a poor man's pass made by Joakim Noah.
Wed Mar 12, 2014 1:00 pm
Great run at the end and overall a decent 2nd half but that awful 1st half kept them from stealing this one... mediocre defensive effort and the Spurs just schooled them with their spacing and just what the Grizzlies did the last time, they neutralize the Bulls bigmen efficiently ... on the lighter note, Fridette got a couple of good moments on that last run...
Wed Mar 12, 2014 1:27 pm
Yeah, that's a fairly respectable final score given their first quarter performance. No prizes for that of course, but at least they didn't end up getting completely thrashed at home.
Wed Mar 12, 2014 1:46 pm
Also they didn't take the opportunity to go ahead on the standings with both the Raptors and Wizards losing yesterday and Taj had another stinker... I reckon he's still laboring from that ankle injury he sustain on the Grizzlies game...
Wed Mar 12, 2014 11:27 pm
I think the players were drunk last night.
Someone forgot to tell them St. Patrick is in a couple days.
It's the roller coaster from last season all over again, big win against the Heat then a no effort in the next game. And you can pretend to beat a team as good as the Spurs if you don't bring your whole energy.
The final 8 point lead is a fluke since the Spurs were playing 2nd and 3rd string players who (after blowing a 27 point lead) won't be playing much again.
Off topic: how nice is watching the Spurs play, anyone who likes, studies or tryes to improve in this game called basketball has to like the way the Spurs play and how they run their offensive and defensive system.

Agreed. The way they've been able to stay relevant and competitive for over a decade is very impressive.

Streamed the Rockets game on the NBA Australia portal and I'm glad that I did, as it was a fun one to watch. That was a great third quarter, great performance by Dunleavy after taking that hard shot in the first half. Shame Gibson couldn't have knocked down that jumper near the end to give Noah his tenth assist and another triple double, but still a fine game for Joakim. Gibson did break out an obligatory poster dunk on Asik, though.
As we've said before, hopefully Augustin will stick around beyond this season. He's been fairly consistent bringing some firepower off the bench. Moving forward, I still think they need a capable scorer on the wing, but with the three pointers falling, the Bulls didn't look like the lowest scoring team in the league in that one.

Bulls should seriously consider going after Parsons this off season.....just use him to spar against Dunleavy in the warm up

I bet the Rockets management
will not let him go unless they sign a superstar (reports said that they're also pursuing Melo but just like the others, it's a longshot)... I would like them to try luring Jodie Meeks instead since LA is a shithole at the moment and with Kobe returning he'll probably have a lesser role which favor the Bulls who can offer him a starter slot...
Sat Mar 15, 2014 6:45 am
was being sarcastic.....in my hypothetical case we woudn't be getting him to play; we'd be getting him so he hits Mike in the head before the game starts so he'll keep shooting like last night
Guess as they say..."if you have to explain it, it wasn't a good joke"
Sat Mar 15, 2014 8:18 am
I liked it. Mike not be so thrilled, of course.

Meanwhile, Kevin McHale
endorses Noah for Defensive Player of the Year ahead of his own All-Star centre.

I wonder if Dwight is going to go cry baby again.

Noah with another big game in the win over the Kings. I'm not sure if he's truly a frontrunner for DPOY in the eyes of the media, but I imagine he'll be making the All-NBA and All-Defensive teams with the season he's had.

A few ringing endorsements from Hall-of-Famers like Kevin McHale and Gregg Popovich certainly won't hurt.

A very sloppy and awful shooting game for both teams that was overshadowed by another magnificent performance from Joakim... with Hibbert not maintaining his early season performance, Lebron having a slump and past winners like Ibaka and Howard having sub-standard seasons, it's safe to assume he have a chance of getting DPOY... Taj finally got out of his funk and seems more mobile and aggressive on this game compared to the last bunch... also Butler is doing a great job making the opponent's top scorers somewhat having mediocre performances this past few games... hope he can maintain it with Durant next in line....

Hi guys, i don't know if this is the right place to ask for it but anyone knows where can I get this hoodie?

I have looked in nba store but I found a similar one and is not the same.
I don't know much places where I can look because I'm not from US.

LOL Grin
Rose indeed was cleared to play. who gives a shit what the media said? he and his marketing team came up with the return or whatever the fuck it was called. he backed himself into a corner and looked even worse when the rest of the team was gutting it out in the playoffs. Nate rob was throwing up in the garbage during timeouts. Noah playing on one leg. Butler playing entire games. "I just want to win"
Andrew wrote:Noah is absolutely a premium player and at this point, I'd still give Rose the benefit of the doubt and say he's one too. Gibson on the other hand isn't, even though his contract is approaching that level. That said, it's not too bad by NBA standards and he's turning out to be pretty solid at the four spot.
i would hardly call Gibson's contract "preminum". 3 more years at over 8mil per is premium??
Moving forward, I think they need to have a versatile scorer on the wing. Basically, what Deng was meant to be and kind of was, but with more potency. Defense isn't a problem for these Bulls, but getting the ball in the basket can be, so that's the kind of player I feel they should invest in as they reshape the roster around Noah and Rose.
So who is this versatile scorer on the wing?
Bulls schedule lightens up after that stretch of nba powerhouses that came through the homestand
Tue Mar 18, 2014 6:33 pm
That's the million dollar question; or more accurately, several million dollars. I think that's the type of player that would fit well with Noah and Rose being two of the team's key players moving forward, but I'll admit, I'm not sure who that is. Like I've said elsewhere, Melo intrigues me, but he comes with his own list of cons and it would take a few things lining up perfectly to get him in the first place.
If nothing else, the team really needs a bit more firepower on offense. It's great that they are such a strong defensive team, but eventually you run into the elite teams that you may be able to slow up a little over the course of a seven game series, but you ultimately need to be able to keep pace with them by putting points up on the board as well.

Trade for Rudy Gay!

Loved Thibs interview at the start of the 4th quarter.
Q: Durant is scoring a lots of points, how do you solve that?
Thibs: stopping him
Q: you got into a shooting drought in the 3rd, but you are still in game, what will it take to win the game?
Thibs: make shots
Thibs is learning from the master Gregg Popovich...kudos to you my dear Tom, league needs more coaches like you and Pop to answer those stupid mandatory questions

Almost lost to the abysmal Sixers.... this is the reason I want the Bulls to get a low post threat (hence my usual praise of Taj efforts and disdain of Boozer's)... even on those days that Derrick and Deng are still around, their perimeter game is easy to figure out by the opposing defense that's why when those shots are not falling, it's a fucking shitfest (their hustle plays is their savior fortunately)... Joakim's evolution is very promising but that's not enough if they want to be dominant... and also it's ok to give Snell some of those minutes that Jimmy played today...
Thu Mar 20, 2014 1:52 pm
Yeah, I don't think anyone relishes being the ones that Philly ends their losing streak against...well, perhaps one of the other teams currently vying for the top pick. Glad it didn't turn out to be the Bulls.
Do you think Boozer is indeed on his way out, either as a salary dump with his expiring contract come the offseason, or as a last-chance amnesty?
