"You're soft."

I must say Randle get what he want: be a Kobe.
J/k aside, Randle now has a significant advantage to be the next Oden successor with this injury.
J/k aside again, the Lakers should learn from the Clippers, but this time trade a pick for the Suns Medical Team or Shangri La location whichever that is.
J/k aside again and again, seriously Lakers' future is really bad right now and I don't think a rebound would be easy and soon in the future.

Randle broke his right leg with his left leg.
Wed Oct 29, 2014 5:19 pm
On the bright side his left leg must be real tough as to break his right leg.
Wed Oct 29, 2014 7:28 pm
Doesn't Randle have a injury history on his leg? Might be a red flag. I hate to see such a promising talent being wasted. Hope we will be able to see him at his best in the future.

Just realize through your statement that this prediction could be so straight correct

Just that the first name is not Lamar, it's Scott

Just found some of these:

Suddenly, claiming Boozer off waivers became a stroke of luck.
Hopefully, Nick Young could be back in a month. in the Lakers first game this season, Lin should have done waaayyyy better though. It shaping up like Ryan Kelly will be getting more minutes.

Lakers should retain Ed Davis for long. He's a gem for the team.

No one gives a shit about your fantasy team.... especially in a thread called Lakers

F*ck the Jazz and the Celtics for taking Exum and Smart before the Lakers can. Randle has great potential though only 19 years old. Sad to see him fall down like that on his NBA debut.

Gonna be a long season fellas.

Crappy start to the season, 2 blowouts and losing Randle. The team has their work really cut out for them. Ed Davis has been at least the one shining point, doing well on his bench role. I want to see Young & X bounce back, I want to see Linsanity in LA.
Fri Oct 31, 2014 12:06 am
Kobe's been the only player that can score for this team in 2 games. Ed Davis has been okay, to say the least
Fri Oct 31, 2014 5:13 am
Nick Young will be back soon, so he and Kobe can combine for 50+ midrange shots per game on a regular basis...

The Lakers obviously aren't this bad. They just haven't found a way to play with each other effectively in Kobe system. It's been all Kobe, might as well call LA Lakers a LA Kobe.
Kobe in last game posted nearly 45% usage rate which is nearly 150% higher than last season's leader in usage category. You can't have that and blame rest of the teams for not showing up. There just isn't enough ball to go around.
IMO 26-29% usage rate for Kobe at this stage in his career would be ideal. Look last time when Kobe tried to push (w/ Dwight), he ended up hurting himself. Sure he can play less minutes and do more in the limited time but 40% usage is just ridiculous. I want to see more Lin and team ball.

It's a two way street. His teammates need to be able to take shots and Kobe needs to stop trying to bail them out.

They put up quite a few points the last two games, didn't think this team was capable of that to be honest. Heck even Wesley Johnson isn't bricking everything. Jordan Hill playing like he's the black version of Dirk.
A win would be nice though, not like a ton or anything...just one.
Reading some other Laker fan forums and now they're missing Pau...
Mon Nov 03, 2014 9:53 pm
This team would have been totally different if Pau stayed.
Mon Nov 03, 2014 10:20 pm
Don't w miss Nick Young, Steve Nash, Xavier Henry and his output from last year and that pg who went to another team as well? Was Pau really going to explode with this set of teammates?
You guys see that conversation with Kobe and Byron taking about how many points he should probably put up? Byron said "I'm thinking like 30, 35, for tonight." I hope it was a joke because the microphones were on them.

Jeremy Lin was kinda supposed to fill in for the loss as he's a better player than those name at this stage in their respective career. If you look at Lin's numbers, he's actually not this bad. Heck, he's done some damage alongside Melo and Harden. I still think healthy 13-6-4 consistent outing is possible if coach has a functioning brain.
And perhaps it's D'antoni. His system is known to make perimeter players get their numbers. Even Bazemore didn't have to go to China and Meek's got a good money.

Went to the Lakers game on Friday. Byron's no 3 policy is forcing them into a lot of contested long 2s which is killing them. Luckily in that game Hill got hot/lucky and hit a bunch of midrange shots he normally misses.
