KG learned his lesson after Brian Scalabrine left.

What a dunk by Wilson Chandler. Gallo is on fire
Sat Dec 18, 2010 11:06 am
21 points in the first half for Gallo

!!!
Still, LeBron's pass to Dampier was crazier than anything in this game so far, minus Chandler's dunk!

How to stop Amar'e? Get Joel Anthony. The man has been just amazing on the defensive end 1-on-1 against Amar'e. Amar'e just 8-21 tonight so far. He might get 30, but his 50%+ shooting strike with 30 points will come to an end.

Miami is on a roll!

INDEED! Turiple Dooble by Queen Brun Jamez in a close match against NYK!
Sat Dec 18, 2010 1:41 pm
Close match my ass, Miami won by 20.

It was a good game though, though Gallo was going to reach like 35 with all the shots he was nailing in the first half, then he flopped and scored like 5 the rest of the game.

We hear how great the winning streak has been for Mavs, Celts, and Heats, but rarely hear much about SAS, the top team in the NBA. This team's not been on the spotlight much on medias but been most deadly so far in the season, having the best record with only 3 losses(2 early in the season, 1 unusual meltdown against the worst team). Makes me wonder how great the SAS really is.

As good as they always are. A team that is fantastic at cycling nine other players alongside the three superstars they've had for a decade. A team that grabbed one of the five best players of a draft multiple times well beyond the lottery. A team that focuses on adding players to a system over simply gathering talent and hoping it works out. (See their other Texan neighbors.)
Lastly a team that offensively has most of its key players playing well above what we should expect so they are slightly elevated currently.
Where we are in the season, one of the three best teams so far with the Heat and Celtics though. Teams all pretty basically and obviously built as well.

Eh, the Spurs lost to the Mavs. But they are a good team, sometimes

Thank you for that nonsensical non sequitur.

i get annoyed when people call them the Miami Heats or Orlando Magics it makes them seem dumb or illiterate or something
Sun Dec 19, 2010 11:34 am
Magic only have 2 players on the bench against 76ers.

Guess they'll earn their money tonight.

Wow, that Wizards - Heat game was the one of the weirdest games I ever watched. Looked like it was over with a minute to go and even though I watched it, I have no idea how the hell they pulled that out.
Even whey the Heat suck monkey balls they're still better than the Wizards.
Heat stole that one.

Wade for the win!

Man, I called Westbrook for MIP a couple of weeks ago, but after that 30-30 game and posting 43-17 tonight (in a loss), should I put my money on Kevin Love now?
Sun Dec 19, 2010 6:48 pm
Both would seem to be a good pick for the award at this point. Let's see who all the sportswriters are hyping around the All-Star break, that's usually a good indicator.

jesus the heat didnt have to steal anything the wizards gave it away. no lead seemed big enough. hinrich giving the ball away for dunks, turnovers, bad defense it was all bad.
Sun Dec 19, 2010 9:36 pm
Clippers almost gave that away. They were up 7 with 40 seconds to go. They probably would have lost in overtime. Can't believe D Rose missed that freethrow.

Maybe you should wait until the end of the season to decide an award? Instead of "calling it" 15 games in and then voting that way no matter what happens.
You wouldn't want to be like the media would you?
Sun Dec 19, 2010 11:08 pm
Man, the Heat nearly lost to the Wizards, who were without Wall and Arenas/Lewis. They better be ready to take on the Mavericks.
Sun Dec 19, 2010 11:21 pm
Or else?
