It's still better than the sucking of a particular body part in the groin area that you get to see in a Heat thread.
And benji doesn't have a monopoly on tables. Everybody can create one if they want to even if it doesn't make sense.

The Table above will tell you the possibility of the Lakers winning or losing the game.
If the Lakers score less than 21 points in the 1st quarter, do yourself a favor, turn the TV off. The Lakers will lose.
If the Lakers score 30 points in the 1st, but only 12 in the 2nd. The Lakers will lose.

The point is, the Lakers need to score more than 21 points in EVERY quarter to have a guaranteed win.

Last night's game is very frustrating, especially for Laker fans. The very first time this season, the Lakers lose despite scoring 22 points in the 2nd quarter (above the 21pts mark). And even holding the opponents to only 17 points in the 3rd quarter.

I've read that Mike Brown had changed his rotation in the 4th quarter. That change was beneficial in the 3rd,which however drained the team's energy going to the 4th quarter.

Its great to see the Lakers just scoring as few as 21 points for a 92.86% guaranteed win. Thats all because of Mike Brown's defensive mindset. More emphasis on defense and lesser on offense.

We all know the Lakers can score, as much as to defend any playoff teams in the NBA. Its just a matter of arranging the rotation for the Laker's coaching staff. I'm glad they found this problem earlier as the playoffs is just around the corner.

Dont worry Laker fans :D

So according to 123rockstar's table, it says, more the Lakers score, more likely the Lakers are gonna win. Great use of table and stats. Made a solid point backed up by undeniable fact. Splendid. Beats benji's table anytime of the day.

Why you keep acting like a whiny ex-wife to the Heat? :shake:

I'm still right about the Heat thread though.
Maybe if you make tables in the Heat thread I'll ease off. Need moar tables!

Great win by the Lakers! They scored the lowest in the 3rd quarter with only 24 points. 24 is good, really good.

Im not yet talking about Kobe. The Lakers scored 24 points which is more than 21. Thus its a high percentage win. Plus, they hold the Warriors to only 16 points in the 1st quarter, which explains the early lead.

Let the video tell the story. How I wish Bulls also have a website as fast as this!

No, the point is you have absolutely NFI how probability works.

Re: Lakers Thread

Wed Mar 28, 2012 6:56 pm

I agree. But I still believe in this Laker team. But I think they need to have another play in crunch time. Not just isolate Kobe. That makes the Laker offense too predictable down the clutch.

What if they do and they allow the opposition to score 30+ a quarter.
Man, you need to take statistics over again. And a little logic can help too.
But if they score more than 21 a quarter. The likelihood of winning is high though. But stating "guaranteed", well that's just farfetched.

I hear ye.

But what does that tell us, besides that the Lakers can win more when they score more, which goes same for the rest of 29 teams. Even the worst in the league, offensively fucked up team in Charlotte Bobcats are averaging more than 21 points per quarter. Wouldn't it obviously hurt your chance at winning if your team played worse than the Bobcats even for a quarter?

Kudos to Mike Brown for sitting Bynum's dumb, immature ass. I hope he continues to bench him if he keeps chucking threes. He's got no business doing that anytime during a game. Kid needs to grow up.

Sounds like he's going to keep doing it. It's a sad state of affairs when Andray Blatche shows him up in the maturity department.

Lakers allowed the Thunder to run past them in the second half. They got pounded on the boards in the second half after Gasol picked up his 4th personal and sat down.

Man, if they play like this all the time ... I will now throw the towel!!!

Fuck Mike Brown. His offense sucks!
