I just try to imagine how a guy like Monta Ellis would look like in that Mike-Brown-slow-pace-offense. Wouldn't work well...
Maybe we'll see some crazy stuff like Pau and Bynum for Howard (and Hedo)...

Maybe Rasheed is being signed to be a piece of a trade.

That would be weird since any team that wants him could have just signed him.

This could make some sense as there is still time left until March 15 to evaluate his shape.

Just made the mistake to read bleacher report. In short: Lakers must trade for Michael Beasley but also have to keep Gasol, Bynum, Kobe and even World Peace together...

I think they just need to sign a point this season, they need to execute better though ...

But World Peace's Performance vs.Sacramento was phenomenal ..

I hope he can do that every game ..

First Game vs. Kings
18 pts.
2nd Game vs. Kings
15 pts.

Games vs. any other team
4.0 pts.

wahahaha

It's just a case of a player having a good performance against his former team.

Kobe is much better when he needs to prove something, and i can't wait for that match-up against LeBron and the Heat. Last one was over by like 6th minute of 1st quarter, you could clearly see Kobe being guarded effectively, and nobody else wanted to step up.

It's funny, really. Kobe needs to learn from LeBron to pass to an open man, especially if he is cold or being triple teamed. LeBron needs to learn that (especially if you are hottt from the field) - he should take the last shot. I really look at that game as the testament to the season. If we win - we can do some damage and might even go all the way in the playoffs. If not - i think we are being bounced in the 1st/2nd round. This gonna be Heat at its hottest, wanting to bounce back from that loss to Utah. Guns will be blazing! (Y)

It will be a good game. Can't wait for it!! Especially as it's sort of a grudge match with Wade breaking Kobe's nose... Even though I am not a lakers fan, I can see Kobe absolutely going off tomorrow. 40 points.

And an interesting fact.

Since Miami had the big 3, they are 3-0 against the Lakers.

I think that hurts the most. Not even 3-0, but the WAY they won, out of 3 times they blew us out 2 times, and in another time proved better in the clutch. I hope for a grudge match, really don't want it to be over quickly like last time. Mike Brown's time is now

I guess I spoke too soon. 2 bad losses against subpar teams. How did WAS come back from 21 points deficit against the Lakers?

Even though it doesn't reflect it in the standings as of right now, I still feel like the Lakers will come out on top in the west. OKC is a great team but the Lakers could take them in a playoff series along with every other team in the west.

Edit: And there is nothing to be disappointed at the Heat about. Bosh will return soon and they will be fine.

Lakers, i won't doubt you now unless you lose like 10 in a row :D Great game

Mitch, please don't trade Pau. We beat on the of the best teams in a league in a game that seemed we were controlling throughout. This team can still get it done

Lakers will be a dominant team because of their size. A lot of analysts still believe in the Lakers. I forgot the name of a commentator who said it's OKC vs. LAL in West Finals, Lakers will destroy their first round and 2nd round opponents. But to me, if the Lakers can win the 1st and 2nd round, they will go all the way. As Rick Carlisle said, the more they beat up people, they gain momentum and become the best, and play on the best form possible. That's what he said after the Mavs sweep the Lakers last year ...

So, i'll say it again,
it's not too late for a ring for World Peace, because he donated his only ring to charity.. too bad ..

Don't trade Pau though, he's playing well.
His numbers are down because of Big Bynum ...

I woke up and watched the game results. Damn, Lakers loose to the Pistons?

One word "Complacency "... Or perhaps we can consider the "Away" factor. Or perhaps, this media trade rumors are ruining the team's chemistry.

But all heads up to the Pistons who had multiple players in double figures.

Well, Pistons can beat any team on a given night, frankly, i don't know why they struggle that much. They aren't a good team, but if u are hot - you are hot

I agree. The chemistry may be affected.

But I won't believe that they will be dumped by Wizards tomorrow ...

Because they're fucking terrible. They have one and a half good players at best. Their defense is hilariously bad at times and they essentially have no offense.

They only have Greg Monroe

They also have Vernon Macklin; and Jonas Jerebko is the best Swedish player in the league.

I love this thread. "The Lakers are clearly championship contenders...oh no! They lost! It's the end of the world!" Neither is true.
