It's great to see Rose off to a strong start after the ankle injury slowed him at the beginning of last year. His turnovers are a little high and he could be a little more reliable from the free throw line but his numbers aren't too shabby at all.

2 of 2 so far.
deng.
why did he take that long two with only one offensive rebounder versus two defensive when korver(?) was wide open from beyond the arc?!!!! (N)
I would trade deng for oden ond roy any day. oh wait never mind thats going a little too far.

Damn!That one was ours....

Spurs though played like daemons on the 2nd half!!
Rose ,who has just an amazing start to the season, was alone on the 2nd half...
But if we keep playing like in the first one,I believe more wins will come

if Gibson could have given anything positive on the offensive end, the bulls win. the spurs took it to them in the 3rd qtr

Rose embarrassed Lowry all game long in that houston game

That's just a little creepy.

In any case, make it 2/3 for the Texas Triangle. Wasn't expecting that, no complaints here though. (Y)

Looks like the Bulls hit a few lucky shots to get them over the line, especially Taj Gibson. Guess you gotta ride your luck when you can. Good start to road trip for Bulls.

If Dirk had some help that game would've played completely differently. The Mavs were tearing the Bulls D apart when they were running the alternating pick and rolls with Barea-Haywood-Dirk before the entire offense fell apart. Nobody but Dirk could make anything and when he finally was coming down to normal they were screwed. Jason Terry couldn't hit anything until the game was over.

I would've put Kidd on Rose down the stretch instead of Terry since they had Watson out there for a while. I don't care if Kidd is slower than Terry, he's smarter and better defensively that he'd make up for it in some ways. Terry just gave up everything.

Neither team was playing all that well as a whole, it came down to luck and the Bulls were getting more of it when it counted thanks to Rose and Gibson.

Great win, clearly an unexpected one.Don't care how it's came ,a win is a win,and a really important one.Gibson really played great today.
When is Boozer expected to return?

So on mid December we can have a first view on how the new Bulls will be, if healthy. And if Boozer plays well and fits in the rotation hopefully Bulls will get even better.

Taj Gibson is bordering on Sam Cassell territory right there.

Bulls @ Lakers is being televised here in Australia. I'll be watching, but I have a sinking feeling it's not going to be the prettiest game to sit through. :?

Somehow I think they'll end up enjoying the result more than I will, but here's hoping. ;)

Ouch. Certainly seems to have worked out in the Bulls' favour.

Really? I wouldn't expect that much for spending twenty bucks on a guy over three years.

Pretty good game up until about midway through the fourth when the Lakers surged ahead and the Bulls looked pretty rattled. Some sloppy turnovers and hot shooting by Shannon Brown didn't help, but a good effort on the whole and a fun game to watch up until that Laker run. Can't help but love Noah's activity and energy, though I still cringe a bit when he puts the ball on the floor even though the results aren't always bad. Rose was doing a great job getting to the hoop but had a couple spin out for him. That floater's becoming pretty effective but he needs to knock down his free throws.

Picking them to win in Phoenix tomorrow, they've won three of their last four there so here's hoping they can continue that trend with Amar'e now out of the picture.

I find that far easier to watch than his free throws and jumper. Now those are cringe-worthy.

Yeah, that's not a pretty shooting form. Seems to work alright for him though.
