Its probably front-loaded, but I bet Orlando accepts. If not, fantastic signing for Chi-Town

I'd still like to see the Bulls have a shot at Childress because he's more versatile. Although, I do wonder how many threes a night there would be with both Korver and Redick on the same team

Nice move!about 6.2 millions a year . Really good move and instantly the SG position becomes one of the strongest in the team. And now we have
Rose
Reddick/Korver
Deng/Johnson
Boozer/Gibson
Noah

I would recommend Miller at C, Law will be nice for PG,what about Crawford for backup of Rose?
Then we have 2 vacant places at least. Firstly a player who can play both on SG/SF T-Mac and Chills. Then a 3rd option for C/Pf behind Gibson and Miller. What about Shaq at the Veteran minimum or MLE?

Until Orlando matches it.
MLE?

The Bulls don't have the MLE this season.

And I'd be shocked if Shaq doesn't head south to Atlanta or Miami.

Which Crawford are you referring to?

If that's the case, then it's a shame that the Bulls only play the Spurs twice a year.

Atlanta's Crawford

According to Sixers insider, they're interested in Iggy, here's what I've heard:

Chicago wants Iguodala from us and has offered Deng, Taj Gibson and a conditional pick.

Sounded like we would send Iguodala and maybe Kapono or Green depending on what the pick was.

As of now, we continue to maintain that we will not be moving Iguodala.

Former NY player Joe Crawford...

Nice!
Though i won't trade Gibson that easy...
But Iggy would be a grreat SG for the team

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

The Sixers won't let Iguodala go that easily. Considering that Doug Collins wets his pants every time Scottie Pippen is mentioned, I think Collins will use Iggy as his 'Pippen' on defense and Evan Turner as his 'Pippen' on offense.

Nice trade of the Bulls -> I think with Korver and Boozer, a good choice (Y)

hopefully Redick will also sign with Chicago...

That's what I've heard as well, Iggy will remain on the team, unless a really great offer will come by. (I thought of the Pippen comparison as well :) )

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

I won't be shocked if Doug Collins learns that both Iggy and Turner combined isn't as good as a single Scottie Pippen.
Better bring back from the grave that Sixers thread.

niiice...Deng for Iggy is a pipe dream for bulls fans

Lamrock wrote:Its probably front-loaded, but I bet Orlando accepts. If not, fantastic signing for Chi-Town

it should be otherwise why bother making the offer. Orlando is in lux tax territory AND still has Barnes to resign. not sure they are keeping both

Redick boasts some fancy efficiency #'s. i have my doubts of him maintaining those numbers as a STARTER. it's one thing playing off a beast like Howard on both sides of the ball for 20min a game. look at his splits as a starter vs reserve while in Orlando. instead of uber efficient, he looks more like kirk hinrich

playing 30mins+ while chasing around/getting overpowered by the opposition's SG+ no Howard in the middle... i'm just saying

the bulls do need another 3pt shooter but let's not act like he's their Jesus (shuttlesworth) for the SG position. he should be splitting minutes with Korver & i'm hoping Brewer at SG

Don't remember if it was mentioned, but Warrick was signed and traded to Phoenix for a 2nd round pick. Instead of nothing...

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

Mon Jul 12, 2010 2:42 am

so pretty much nothing then hehe

Orlando will have to pay $40 mil over 3yrs for Redick should they choose to match the Bulls offer

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

Mon Jul 12, 2010 2:56 am

Orlando is thinking of matching it and will wait the full 7 days. I think this could be good, perhaps the Bulls could go after Childress. Redick and Korver have pretty much the same assets.

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

Mon Jul 12, 2010 10:53 am

If Orlando doesn't match, we can consider the need for three point shooting well and truly filled. Unless they're content with Asik, I'd say a solid backup for Noah is the next priority; I wouldn't mind if they brought back Miller at a reduced price if that's at all feasible, perhaps Ilgauskas if he's willing to move on from Cleveland. Neither are long term solutions though...maybe Joel Anthony?

i agree with the joel anthony idea!
