Right in the face of Alonzo Gee. This guy is clutch.

82games.com last update on Dec 15.

Took a look again and found out that Love gets more FTA than Aldridge.
Must be because of those offensive rebounds Love gets resulting from his teammates missing forced shots because Love is not a reliable go to scorer, still not bad for merely a catch and shoot big man who hangs around and gets open at the three-point line.

Like his game winner against the Hornets last year. This guy isn't afraid to take the last shot. Hope he becomes an all-star this year.

What. You don't think it'd be entertaining to discuss who's more overrated in their own terms?

I actually took a look at it too in b-r. It's more of Aldridge's game that has trouble getting to the line. Otherwise he could be a much better player as he's a capable freethrow shooter (but he's a set feet first jump shooting big man). I mean Bosh in his TOR days, he lived at the line. Look at his FTr, it's nuts. Duncan's numbers are bit lower, and Love's numbers(not this season) are close to Duncans while having a slight lead over Dirk in his prime. Just to consider this season only, Love's FTr is actually disappointing in comparison to those names. He probably should be getting to the line at better rate though he still does it much better than Aldridge.

Just for the fun, getting to the line never has been Kevin Garnett's forte but he still did it much better than Aldridge. Karl Malone? Looks like he had a tent at the line.

As shadowgrin mentioned above, Love is a catch and shoot guy and to make it simple: you don't get free many free throws with that kind of game. I complained some time ago that Love could have a better FG% and most likely a better FTR if he'd constantly attack the rim. His game would suffer from this. His TS is at .573 and his eFG% at .509 this season, which are both above LMA's .528 and .486. He may not be a go to scorer but I also see no need for Love to change his approach to the game dramatically.

Aldridge is beasting this year, but only for sentimental and continuity reasons would I not swap him for Love. Love is a fantastic modern PF who has yet to have a decent, healthy supporting cast. As a result, he's better but less relevant.

If nobody gets injured, I pick Portland to finish 3rd in the West.

Oh, that'll be fun. I thought you were talking about head to head.

I have them 2nd, only because Popovich and his fetish for random DNPs.

Kinda a coincidence that the Blazers are playing the Timberwolves, but wow look at that scoreboard.

Aldridge played like shit in a crucial matchup. It was Portland's 4th game in 5 nights but they still put up a fight.

Ill let Love be the #1 PF till Aldridge proves me wrong. No excuse for how he played.

Crucial as in battle of PFs. Interesting possible playoff matchup for Portland. Haha. That Lillard kid though.

"It's interesting," Barkley said. "People always ask me about the championship ring. And I never think like they think. You know, basketball's what I do, it's not who I am.

"I thought LeBron shoulda stayed in Cleveland. Just 'cause he got them rings now, he ain't no better. Think about the notion that, just because I didn't win a sportin' event, my life is not successful. That's gotta be the stupidest thing I ever heard."

Seriously, what's up with Barkley and LeBron?

There's an interesting discussion to be had when it comes to rings and evaluating players, but that particular remark does come off as sour grapes on Sir Charles' part.

Wow. Cheap shot by Wade. I hope the league takes this seriously and hands down a major suspension along with the police looking into charges. You can't allow this kind of thuggery in the league.

I think George might've topped Bosh's efforts from a couple of years ago with that one.

I was considering to go back to being a Wade fan again after tonight's excellente performansa but that thuggery's gonna keep me bleeding green for little longer.

And with that flop Paul George now becomes a bitch.

Andrew wrote:I think George might've topped Bosh's efforts from a couple of years ago with that one.

I think there's slight contact, Wade's arm lighty brushing against George's head but not that severe to warrant that reaction unlike Bosh's where it was all air with the contact.

Wade didn't touch George. He just didn't have any deodorant on.

BTW did Wade get called for the foul on that play?

It's also funny that I haven't watched the Heat ball for ages now. Boring, I know how they run their offense/defense. I'm more into Celtics, Kings these days, lol.

At least Lance Stephenson doesn't flop. He confronts.

So to recap, the last four games, KD is averaging 30+ on 60-60-90. Alright then.

Steve, that's a little too early, isn't it?

But if MVP award was to be handed out tomorrow, it would be KD. With Paul George as a not so close second.

Pfft averages. Chauncey Billups once did 60-60-90 every game for five straight games.
