About what? lol
Heat know how to blow it.
Heat has Lebron and Wade. But it seems they disappeared in the 3rd, missing their first 10 shots and only has 3 field goals

Done watching this shit. 9 and 8. Godamn.
Sun Nov 28, 2010 2:15 pm
Butler with that buzzer-beating shot.
Sun Nov 28, 2010 2:32 pm
This is just terrible.
It really disgusts me to watch my favorite team. In the past I was emberassed to admit being a Heat fan because of all the retarded fans, but I now it's more because of all the talent they have while not getting shit done.
You have arguably the best (and fuck this, I'm not talking about 18 million dollar man Joel fucking Anthony) and the third best player in the world alongside Chris Bosh, and your gameplan is to just play iso's for Wade and James all the time and to chuck up three pointers.
And fuck Spoelstra. Dampier saw no minutes in the second half. Alone his presence in the first made a difference, unlike Anthony who gets absolutely no respect from opposing players. Just sit his ass down, please. This will upset many users here, but Anthony is pure garbage.
Sun Nov 28, 2010 2:43 pm
You're on my Foe list buzzy. Continue talking crap about the greatness that is Joel Anthony, doesn't matter, I won't see it anyway.

Mavs beat the Spurs and Heat, two quality teams.

But in reality, the Heat should be shopping Chris Bust... just saying
Sun Nov 28, 2010 3:01 pm
Chris Bosh is definitely not the problem.
Sun Nov 28, 2010 5:27 pm
I'd say LeBron, Spoelstra and the team's lack of depth is what's causing them to underachieve (though their expected W-L suggests they are among the best teams).
The team's 4-12 is by far the worst in the league, full of also-rans and scrubs. Then there's the fact that Wade is hobbled and shooting poorly. Then there's the fact that LeBron is completely redundant in Spoelstra's turrible offense. And despite all that, they are still playing pretty well (especially on D!), losing some close games and such, but they'll get better. Losing Haslem hurts, but His Dampness should be a huge contributor for them.
It's easy to look at the team's record and his raw stats, and simply overlook the face that Bosh has been extremely efficient and arguably the team's best player so far. Wade's the one fools should be suggesting ridiculous trade suggestions for.
Sun Nov 28, 2010 5:36 pm
LeBron shooting percentages are way down and he seems to be making unusually poor decisions with the ball lately. His turnover average so far is over his career average. And i can understand his rebound average going down but not to the point where Wade is actually averaging more rebounds per game then him.

Have the Heat won even one game against a team you'd quantify as 'good', apart from the Magic? It seems like they've been inflating pyth. record by blowing out a bunch of mediocre-to-bad teams and staying within sight in their defeats - which admittedly, most good teams tend to do. I don't think they've won a close game yet, and that's probably likely to change as I assume they get better with both their overall and late-game execution (come on, it's happening).
Bosh is pretty much doing what everyone expected him to do - as an efficient third conk. His TRB% has been rightfully abysmal (12.7%?!) but his ORtg is up and he's shot well.
Surely people would have to consider LeBron and Wade's starts as uncharacteristic - maybe part of that is Spoelstra's unimaginative offense, but part of that probably is just small sample size. They might still end up with near 60 once they get guys back - though their bench blows chunks.

that's what you get for signing players from white vegas
Sun Nov 28, 2010 8:16 pm
Ilgauskas suks balls more then Anthony. Anthony has no measurable offensive game, but does all right defensively. Z is slow as shit and can't guard anybody. Dampier should play 25 minutes soon, if they want to make the Playoffs. I'd put it like this : Damp - 25, Joel 15, Z 8.

I think the guya shouldve taken more of a discount, so they can get a quality MLE player
Mon Nov 29, 2010 3:48 am
DAMN!!! The Heat just suck! Their bench is absolute crap (with Haslem gone, arguably one of the worst). Wade is sucking (with 1-13 shooting against the Pacers

). The big 3 are fatigued as they play over 40 minutes every game (since their bench is so bad). They're lack of inside threat. Both Ilgauskas and Bosh are horrid defenders. This is not a good sign.
Mon Nov 29, 2010 6:41 am
Almost forgot - Dorell Wright is awesome, and he should be MIP, as I've mentioned bfore.
Mon Nov 29, 2010 7:17 am
I love atdhe. Knicks-Pistons has been a great game. Why does Gallinari suck so much?
EDIT: Nevermind. Right after I type that, he drills two threes and draws a charge.
Mon Nov 29, 2010 7:24 am
Looks like the Knicks will take care of business in OT #2.

They're all actually playing fewer minutes than they did last year; as of this post, LeBron plays the most minutes at 37.7 per game, down from 39 minutes per game last year. In previous years, they've played more minutes without two other stars on the rosters to help shoulder the load. Fatigue shouldn't be an issue 17 games into the season, so I don't buy that.

This season will probably be a train wreck (50 wins.

) for Miami. Who knew their bench's best two players would both go down with injuries that would last for a really long time? Haslem's likely out for the season and Miller won't be back until after Christmas. After that, who knows? Miller was supposed to be the guy that would truly make Miami a threat. A guy who can hang out around the arc while James, Wade, and Bosh all drive inside. He would get a ton of open threes and that's how I envisioned this team. With Miller out and the Big 3 relying on guys like Eddie House and beyond-ancient Erick Dampier and Juwan Howard.
Hopefully Miami doesn't get bitten by the injury bug next season, by which time the team will have gelled and will all (hopefully) be healthy.
Mon Nov 29, 2010 11:57 am
50 wins? Maybe that sim ESPN did that gave them a 41-41 record was realistic.

Oh yeah. Thanks Sir Andrew! I just checked their minutes this season. Anyway, Miami's defense is a major issue why they suck. edited: They also don't have a good and strong Center.

Actually, Miami defense was 2nd or 1st in the league or somewhere in the top 10. I think benji has a stat for it

I mean their defense in the past games. ( against the Pacers, Celtics, Magic, New Orleans and recently against the Mavericks)
