or Redd, if he returns, doesn't ruin what Bogut and Jennings are doing right now.

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

i'm going under with the wins. 42. may not be good enough even for the last spot. Del Negro can't continue with his 7 man rotation. they're not going to last.

injuries could be a wildcard and allow the bulls to sneak in.

i hope the Bucks do well too. i'll always be a fan of Skiles. every year i go with the same guys, take a road trip to milwaukee, and catch a game

3000+posts? haha no way

We're still trailing the Lakers thread though. I guess they've had more to talk about.

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

that's the thread for aristocrats

i heard recently that Noah didn't know why the circus trip is called the circus trip. i'll give him a break as long as he continues to lead the league in rebounding

it's only right that you mention how Gordon did last nite, Andrew

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

Tue Nov 17, 2009 8:23 am

True, he shot terribly last night. But on the whole, he's been a lot more consistent than Salmons.

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

Tue Nov 17, 2009 11:27 am

to be fair, with the exception of Noah, Gordon's PER is higher then any bull

anyone's been more consistent then Salmons. the guy's a career 45% shooter. it's got to end sooner or later

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

Tue Nov 17, 2009 2:10 pm

Here's hoping. His 31.7% is just miserable, well below what he's proven himself to be capable of.

espn is floating around a rumor... former Bull Nocioni heading to Boston. i would love to see that trade happen. i miss the guy. i'm sure he'll win that Boston crowd in no time if the trade happens

he can't stand losing.. boston would be a good fit for him. imagine him and Perkins have 12 fouls combined to hack the likes of LBJ, Carter, etc

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

Wed Nov 18, 2009 6:28 pm

Saw that rumour too, good deal for Boston if it happens.

Good start to the road trip with the win in Sacramento, my expectations for the Lakers game aren't quite as high. Nevertheless, the game's on here so I'll be sure to catch it.

Or the most of the entire Bullls roster for that matter.

True. Salmons turned in a good performance today, more along the lines of what I was hoping to see.

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

is that marcus fizer in the background lol

I was surprised the kings played so poorly. recently they've played very well at home. Jason Thompson couldnt catch a pass/was crap. that Evans guy- pretty good player.

Bulls were awesome, taking advantage of the kings sloppiness

Gasol's supposed to return thurs. either him or Bynum is going to light up Gibson. i wonder if Gray will be available in this game. i'll throw some $ on this game if the line is outrageous

Given the time frame, that'd be Chris Duhon wouldn't it?

i was being facetious

Sorry, didn't pick that up.

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

Sat Nov 21, 2009 4:43 am

lol no worries

so the lakers are a pretty damn tough team with Gasol back. the Bulls got whooped even though they forced MR.8 to bad shooting night. Artest owned Deng last nite

nice thing about this road trip. no back to backs

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

Sat Nov 21, 2009 9:37 am

It's about what I expected. Rose is capable of being a better finisher at the rim though, seems he's still not fully recovered from the ankle injury. Noah played well but Gasol was too much. Surprised to see that they shot 45% on the game, felt like they were shooting a lot poorer during the game.

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

anyone else still on that Taj Gibson train? i think Oden goes for 30 & 20 if last nite's game wasn't a blowout

Salmons had a good shooting game-yay! i read somewhere that he is leading the league in inside shots getting blocked.. not only is he leading the league by a wide margin, it would be the all time worst if he continues at this rate. i think before last nite he was at 40%

1 win so far on the trip.

looks like Rose is healthy now. the dude dunked on Oden. in this road trip- he's definitely going to the basket with more aggression/explosiveness

At this point, I'd much rather they'd taken Blair.

As would everybody. But that would make too much sense.

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

Thu Nov 26, 2009 7:36 am

just to play devil's advocate...

Blair made a lot of noise in the preseason but what has he done since??

would Blair step in and do a better job then Gibson? could he start and survive guarding the forwards/centers that Gibson's guarding? would he a be a good fit on a good defense/crappy offense oriented team??

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

Thu Nov 26, 2009 11:10 am

He's putting up a little over 5 and 5 in around 15 minutes for the Spurs, which isn't too shabby but I'd have to concede that the Bulls likely wouldn't be in a better position in the standings than they are now with Gibson.

so Hinrich could be missing time because of his thumb. the road trip is almost over. Jennings has cooled off & Bogut won't be killilng the team w/5ft left handed hooks

the bulls should finish the road trip 2-4

Guess you spoke too soon. Glad to say that Bogut came back & had a good game. He's finally becoming the Bucks' MVP :P
