Andrew wrote:Exactly. As much as I like Gordon and think he tends to get a bad rap, Detroit's rumoured interest is quite puzzling.
Now that Carlos Boozer has decided to stay with the Jazz, seems like Detroit is looking to Turk as 1st priority and Gordon as 2nd option.
air gordon wrote:what bad rap? the team had an off year last year and he fell off slightly. now the team bounced back and he rebounded with another solid year (its a shame he's not in the 3pt contest but i digress). plus i'm sure he made some believers after hitting those clutch shots against the celts on national tv during the playoffs

me too, and even more so if the one they could move is called Luol Deng and his 70+ million dollar contract, and move him for a big guy inside that we could rely on....
Sure, but there still seems to be a contingent of people who claim he's useless and the Bulls would be better off letting him walk. Even as he was making those clutch shots, I read comments about him being selfish and the like.

The Pistons have reached a deal in principle with Ben Gordon, a source with knowledge of talks tells Adrian Wojnarowski.
The deal is believed to be worth $55 million over five years.

Andrew wrote:Agreed. I do like Deng but I'm not sure if he can live up to the contract, so if there's a good deal on the table it might be time to take their chances and pull the trigger...as long as the person coming the other way doesn't have a worse contract. I'm not sure his stock would be high enough to land a good big man though, any such deal would probably have to include Thomas or Noah.
