Iv been optimistic about this team the whole season, they played good in the beginning. Then the injuries happened. After that they have just been srry. I cant take it anymore. iv seen them lose to many leads, not play defense, lose very close games, to teams way under .500. The game when they lost to Memphis near the end of the season. Memphis. Nuff said. Im just so mad that they dont try to play defense. I would actually be surprised if they got past 81 points this game.

Personally, I couldn't take it. I changed the channel and now I am watching House.
K0beStar, I know you didn't mean all of that truthfully, it's frustrating to see the team play like this when we all know that they could be doing alot better.
I think the Lakers are better off with Bynum starting since he played every regular season game, and the team is used to him on the floor.
Wed Apr 25, 2007 2:55 pm
I dont truthfully mean this. But it makes me feel better to vent and express how im feeling about my team, when they are playing this horrendous. I like that Kobe came back into the game, he didnt have to by all means but he wanted to clean up a little bit they way the sloppy ball they were playing and give it to Bynum more. Poor Bynum no body passes to him, Kobe tries to get him involved. I think that they only way Kobe will ever get another ring (besides the lakers actually playing decent ball) is if Bynum helps him. Not odom, smush, or luke. Its Bynum. If he bulks up more maybe and spends more time with Kareem then maybe This team could be a contender for a championship.
Wed Apr 25, 2007 3:18 pm
Maybe Bynum will have to scream this again.

Did you guys hear Lamar Odom in the post game interview? He sounded very pissed off, he had reason to be, but he looked very uncomfortable. He said his team, and the players are not close. I think that may be the reason why the game wasn't even close. I have no idea what the Zen Master was thinking this time, some of the lineups he had out there were ridiculous, for example Mo Evans, Lamar Odom, Shammond Williams, Brian Cook, and Sasha Vujacic.

I'm going to commit suicide.

Lamar almost cryed!SAD!Just SAD!As a Laker fan i think the most good thing, that can happen to this proud organization is a sweap in 4!YES i said it!Then, maybe then, the red light over Jim Buss's bed can fall on his head and he'll realize that this team has no chemistry and major changes need to be made!I think it's either Kobe or Phil! One of them needs to go!

We both pull the triggers on on each other
If it was either Kobe or Phil to go i would like Kobe to leave and join a better team where he has a better chance to win a championship or atleast get out of the first round. Phil needs to stay maybe to teach these young players a thing or two and to raise Bynum.
Wed Apr 25, 2007 4:40 pm
Hahaha, Kobe or Phil, are u crazy!!!!???? Kobe and Phil should stay but those second hand players needs to be changed, Wtf did you expected!? Lakers to won this year champ:)) Cook, Minm, Smush, Luke, Radmanovic-----they need to be changed! how!? really dunno but La needs new roster., this one sux and agree., doesn't have any chemistry.
Thinking to trade Lamar for more agressive olayer., Lamar is too soft.
ps. almost forgoted to add Kwame on the list- hes big fat nothing.
Wed Apr 25, 2007 10:43 pm
How could u almost forget Kwame? Hes that huge massive black piece of dog poo standing in under the rim.

Evans, Smush, Cook, Bynum
Why did Phil put this lineup on the floor?
Slow, worse possible defensive combination, and unable to shoot on offense.
Thu Apr 26, 2007 2:44 am
I somehow wish they didn't make the playoffs
by magic got the first pick and then drafted oden
then they could've traded oden or bynum for a very nice PG

Wow, just finished watching the game and just wow.
What's left to say? The roster assembled by Kupchak is...weak. That's the word.
Kobe Bryant is Kobe Bryant. He's the best player in the NBA at the moment but that just isn't enough.
Lamar Odom is talented, the guy is extremely talented, but he just doesn't seem to be able to play in the exsisting system. He needs to have the ball more in his hands to be effective. He was extremely effective in Miami when he was handling the ball and Wade/Butler were slashing to the hoop.
Andrew Bynum has promise, I'm very optimistic about him. But that's just it, he's got promise. This is the playoffs, you can't expect more than what you're getting from him.
Kwame Brown, tch...Kwame Brown.
Basically aside from Kobe, Phil, Odom and Walton, this team is fit for the NBDL. They're just not strong enough to compete against the big boys, sort of like KG & the Wolves. This is Kobe and the Lakers.
Oh well, optimisim is key, let's hope most of the guys are in a good flow next game around, Kobe's on fire and that Lamar feels comfortable.

So Laker fans, after losing tomorrow which bridge do you want to meet at? Impossible to stay optimistic.

That's not really the attitude I'd expect from Laker fans, but okay, that's just me.

Killing yourself after a couple losses? What kind of fan would do that?

You got to be kidding, they're rebuilding, just wait a couple of years and the Lakers will be successful again. Trust me, I'm a Sixers fan
Thu Apr 26, 2007 12:58 pm
Lol a Sixers fan, so you have been waiting for like... how long?

Since '83, and I wasn't even born until 5 years later

Or since 2001.

11-0 with 9 minutes to play in the 1st. By my calculations, the Lakers will lose 172-0.
Fri Apr 27, 2007 1:35 pm
The Lakers just got it back to a 7 point deficit, hopefulyl they can tie at the half or take a lead. Cmon Kooobbeeee

Good to see Kobe going to his teammates more, but even better seeing those teammates deliver at least some of the time - particularly Kwame. Kwame has been really impressive tonight.
Fri Apr 27, 2007 2:22 pm
Ya i thought we were just gona get hit by another category 9 Kwame again, but hes surprised me so far, playing really good. And Kobe has like 6 assists, i havent seen that in a while.
hell ya thats wut i like to see kwame!!! 3 straight dunks! lookin like last years kwame.
