I hate this crap. This is partly Kobe's fault, and partly his teammates' fault. They gave Kobe the ball, stood there and watched. What was he supposed to do when he can't get a good shot? Pass it to an open teammate. Yet, nobody was getting open because they were not moving, just watching.

Yea that ended it, but imo it was Barbosa who torched them... it's like he gave Lakers the Kobe treatment.

:o @ the last quarter score.
Phoenix had a bad shooting night and they still win, Suns' even had less rebounds than LA. Imagine if the Suns' threes are going in.
You Laker fans think LA even has a chance?

(Sorry, I just had to rub that loss in  )

The fact that we still almost won despite Smush even playing and Kobe's bad 4th quarter is amazing.

Of course LA has a chance.

(Kobe) 1-for-10 shooting in the fourth quarter

That's just horrendous.
fact that we still almost won

LA "still almost" won when Phoenix was having a bad night?
What if Phoenix is having good night and all its gears are rolling?
Can anyone say blowout?

Kobe can take (and make) all the ridiculous shots he wants in the first 3 quarters of the game. Fact of the matter is, lately between these two teams, Raja Bell has been right in Kobe's grill the entire game. Kobe was just tired in the 4th quarter, yet he still tried to do it all by himself.

The Suns are a completely different monster this year. Kwame Brown won't be an eighth of the factor he was in games 2, 3 and 4 last year. Suns shot 43% from the field and 26% from downtown...if they come even NEAR their season averages of 49.4% from the field and 40% from downtown, the game wouldn't be close.

Considering the talent differences, that's good. Now if Smush didn't play such bad D and Kobe didn't suck so bad in the 4th, that's a 10 point win. Oh, we held them to a bad night.

So the Lakers held the Suns to a bad night, but the Lakers sucked by themselves?

today + last year's series shows that Barbosa = Lakers Killer

plus, did you see that one close up of Farmar after he got a charging foul from running over Nash? He was by the sideline and he says to himself "That's bullshit." and he turns his head to the crowd and says "shut the fuck up."

They were watchin alot but I remember once Farmar was completely open just under the basket wavin his arms like a maniac and Kobe took a fade-away over two defenders....

I saw that too, Kobe was on the left wing trying to dribble himself out of a double team and kept changing direction to get lose and Farmar went baseline and was standing there all alone for about a good 2-3 seconds before someone got on him but before then Kobe has already taken the J and missed. I understand Kobe not wanting to pass to his teammates in the cluth cuz he docent trust them but then i dont understand it. :(

Despite Jordan Farmar getting into foul trouble I think he did pretty good for a rookie. The Lakers were nothing in the 4th last night. Kobe was terrible in the 4th. If Kobe was hot in the fourth like he was in the second the Lakers would've won.

Totaly agree with you, Lamar didnt play so good, maybe Farmar but others sux as usually when big games come., dunno wtf is with smush- like hes losted in a dream-totaly outside of the court.

Lakers don't need Kobe in 2nd game,he'll be good enough, they need others- more from others especially bench but wtf i'm talking about.

Lets wait 2nd game, hope they will sort all the things and win.
Kobe ftw

^They won't. Period. The Suns got way too many weapons, they can't be stopped by a team like the Lakers.

Like I said I thought they were gettin eaten alive but they proved that they caan beat them... I think they will win at least one game at staples

Lamar wasn't so bad actually huuuge double-double i just think he should've tried a litlle harder in the fourth I mean he saw Kobe was not hitting anything he neeeds to take a shot or make a drive but he just gave it to Kobe and watched what was going to happen...

But actually I think Suns did just what they wanted: Let Kobe do his thing.. don't let anybody else get into it and he'll eventually wear out.-> easy win

Yeah, and it's worked before with Detroit when they ended the Laker's dynasty with Shaq and Kobe. They just let Shaq and Kobe do their thing, and stopped everyone else.

Laker's are gettin ran right now, because they are standing around watching the Suns play.

Even if they play the best ball of their lives they couldnt get to Game 5. I dont see them winning a game, maybe when they get to LA, they can feed off their home crowd buti doubt their home crowd will be cheering them on. lets face it. lakers are sheer garbage. i actually hope their plane crashes into a mountain while kobe and phil jumps out with parachutes.
i mean jesus fucken christ, lakers... omfg r u serious
wow
27 point deficit.
lakers
wow
wtf
its not fair
the suns vs lakers is like 12 vs 1 (kobe)
kwame is... kwame
he couldnt hit a hook to save his moms life and his, or make a layup
odom is constantly inconsistant.
smush, is just srry
srry smush but plz go back to new york and play streetball again cuz no one wants u here
im not mad at kobe, theres no reason too. hes trying his best to get his teammates involved and get confidence but they are just.. sorry
kobe needs to come out shooting in the second half and forget wut teammates are.
thisis bullshit
oh and bynum is alright, hes still garbage, and i dont understand it cuz karem is mentoring him and teaching, but wtf? wut is he teachign him? to suck?
bullshit.
just srry ass bullshit
i get fucked
ughhhh
i fucken hate kwame..
they cant play defense they just stand there and watch the suns dunk on them and drain 3's in their face.

Yeah that is pretty sad. They're down 25. Kobe's scored more in one game than the Lakers have going into the 4th quarter. But K0bestar your a little ridiculous. The Suns are a tough team, and the Lakers are still in the process of rebuilding. If you were a true fan you would be a little optimistic.
