Wow, that's considered in the act of shooting? Wow.

Another blown opportunity by the Celtics as that hot start's gone to waste.

Someone needs to get onto the FCC so we don't have the Mike Breen stumbling over the best way to repeat a "___ sucks" chant.

And that about wraps it up, Kobe in five. The Celtics are clearly afraid of him and have no clue how to counter his unstoppable dominance.

Well that was over quick.

Did ESPN ever-so-subtly show Dr J as a 'former Celtic great'?
Wed Jun 09, 2010 12:01 pm
And again...Fish was there when contact was made, but was still moving over when Allen took off. What exactly is Allen meant to do to avoid contact there (other than lob it to Garnett, which he probably should have done anyway)?

Bynum's size is felt all over the court. Even on offense pick and roll using Gasol, the Centics can't let the guard down inside.
Wed Jun 09, 2010 12:49 pm
Well, they just made up for the out of bounds call in Game 2.

Didn't your mother ever tell you that two wrongs don't make a right?

Okay, can we please stop pretending that Kobe Bryant is playing well? Continuing to shoot when not shooting well is not the sign of being a great player, and Mark Jackson needs to shut the fuck up.
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:08 pm
Officiating today was as usual, not great not awful.
Personal hate: Pierce's 4th
I am really liking Bynum. He just opens up the floor as one of the Boston's big always has to stay inside keeping Bynum in front of him. Even with that, earlier in 3rd, you saw how Bynum still could pull down the rebounds for the Lakers.

There has been whispers that he is compared to or, as benji would say, greater than Michael Jordan.
Kobe's dominating. He has a
game leading 25 points at the
3rd quarter. Kobe will destroy the Celtics in the 4th.
Believe it.

I don't know about those last two calls on the Celtics. I was hoping Mike Breen would acknowledge the "Bullshit!" chant.
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:11 pm
lesson to be learned, dont breathe around a purple jersey. this game is fucking bullshit
Wed Jun 09, 2010 1:14 pm
"Straight up" means "straight up", not "straight up, give or take 5-10 degrees". More players need to learn this distinction.
Pierce's 5th was sketchy at best, though.

Rasheed is doing a great job on Pau, I'm genuinely surprised at that.
Kobe is the best ever, let's not talk negative guys, you know the basketball gods (aka Kobe's competitiveness and sheer determination) don't like that.
I can't believe I'm about to say this, but Luke Walton needs to get back in the game. He knows how the triangle is run and he can be a good feeder from Kobe-to-Gasol/Bynum in regards to his post feeds. Plus he knows when to not shoot, unlike Artest.

so standing and not moving means?

Good to see that it appears like we're going to have a competitive finish. It sure didn't look like it would be that way through most of the first half.

Why would he want to promote the racist hate speech from the crowd? He's a black man himself, I'm sure he's hoping he gets out of there without being lynched during the riot after Kobe rightly leads the Lakers to victory and justice.
Also, ABC would be open to charges of incitement.

you gotta be fucking kidding me right?
