Ok. Game 1 is tonight. I'm rooting for BOS even though, I've never liked them, plus though I also am rooting for Shaq. BOS imo, is the East's SAS. Both relies on fundamental b-ball to win, have trios plus great young energy guys in George Hill and Rondo, and both teams are considered past the prime since core players are aged. One feeling I share between these two teams is that even though I never enjoyed them being so dominant in many years, they grew some sort of fondness on me, watching them and growing old together the whole time. Both are near their end of being great self, and at this stage, I can't help seeing myself rooting for these underdogs whom once were the greatest in the league. So my heart is saying BOS in 7 but my brain is with CLE in 6. BOS still has a great chance I believe in my biased opinion, if they can hold Lebron to manageable numbers and if the BOS plays D like they did back in the days against the Lakers, I think Sauru once again will be a happy old man.

Paul Pierce going cold... and the Celtics D had no answer for Lebron. Frustrating game for the Celtics since they really had a good shot in this one.

Good game. Garnett almost looked like his old self. But Cleveland has got to play Hickson more. Even with the little bit a minute he plays he still has a big impact on games.

Shows that he's a better actor (or as Quentin Richardson noted, actress) than Paul Pierce

They certainly like to play up those angles and in all fairness whenever a key player has an injury of some sort it's a valid talking point, though it didn't seem to affect LeBron too much given his final stat line.

Experience is overrated and an overused mantra, like "upside" during the Draft or the whole "defense wins championships" generalisation. Besides, the Cavs themselves are far from inexperienced.

Celtics are off to quick start again, up by 13 in the second quarter. Hope the Celtics won't collapse like in the first game.

They weren't in too bad shape at the half but the third quarter has been an embarrassment, outscored 26-9 as of this post.

I guess in all fairness it isn't over yet, five minutes is a long time in basketball and the lead is only 12. Still, short of an eruption by LeBron it seems unlikely the Cavs are taking this one. Mo Williams has had a very ordinary night apart from the seven assists.

Looks like time will run out on the Cavs though. Still just enough time to give it a shot but almost to the point of looking ahead to Game 3.

Instead of playing in a half court set they need to run the Celtics out the gym. C'mon you got guys like Mo williams, JJ Hickson, Varejao, Antawn Jamison, Jamario Moon, Delonte West and maybe they should start using Boobie Gibson (hes not quick off the dribble but he hustles) along with Lebron. Fuck Shaq he is too slow on getting back on defense while Rondo has already crossed half court. Cut his playing time. Cleveland has the guys conditioned to run the floor but theyre not using that to their advantage. It is so frustrating watching them at times bc they make things more complicated then they should be. Im not saying the series is over for them because Boston actually has a better road record than at home so they might get 1 win in the next 2 games at the TD Garden which is enough but its not going to be easy for them for the rest of the series.

This game was awful, so wathced hockey which actually was pretty good untill the Canucks allowed the CHI to get back into the game, 2-2 right now.

Awful start for SAS as well, but I know they will make a run from 2nd half.
