I got Uconn, Gonzaga, Texas and Villanova in the final four.

Texas Longhorns are taking it all this year in a 86-84 win over Uconn in the final game.

damn, 100% so far, BC & Tennessee held on for me....Wichita State was an easy pick over Seton Hall, & UW-Milwaukee was a good shot for upset....

100% at the moment but Montana & Alabama are going to change that for me as Nevada & Marquette are going down :(

as for Final Four, I have UConn, Duke, UCLA & Boston College....so mostly favourites this year....

great start to tournament....wanted Winthrop (they have a Tall Blacks' player as one of their stars) to win but their shot failed them....great game, so was BC-Pacific one....

EDIT: Montana beat Nevada :( then again, I was never 100% on Nevada winning that game, I didn't really see them as a 5 seed....as for Marquette, they made a great comeback to just fall short against Alabama :( that was another game that was essentially the toss of a coin as they were both pretty close....Marquette just gave Bama too much of a start :(

I'm 4-3 so far

Thankfully though, the 3 bad picks didn't go beyond the 2nd round. I had Oklahoma over Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Nevada over Montana and Marquette over Alabama... but all of them were losing in the 2nd round, so that's ok.

Gonzaga could be knocked out by Xavier....I was so tempted to take that result but I didn't....Xavier is always a problem for high seeds in NCAA Tourney....they play tough....I have Zags getting knocked out at Sweet 16, they rely too much on Morrison & Batista, & don't have very good guards....

my 2 losses (same as Jae's with exception of Sooners) are alright as I didn't have Nevada or Marquette going past 2nd Round....

UCLA won which is good....UNC-Wilmington is winning slightly over GW which is great....that's Goldsberry white guy is an awesome PG....he's clutch....hopefully they can hold off the Colonials, move on & give me another W :P

I'm now 5-2 (with the UCLA win)....

Great comeback from George Washington. They were down and out coming out of the 2nd half, I've got them over NCW. Also have Iona over LSU but that doesn't seem to be happening, no matter they were getting knocked out in the 2nd round also.

Other picks for today:

Gonzaga over Xavier
Indiana over San Diego St.
Duke over Southern
Syracuse over Texas A&M
Illinois over Air Force
Washington over Utah St

I got UNC-W over GW, they're up 1 now....

I also have:
LSU over Iona
Zags over Xavier (Morrison is leading fightback)
Indiana over SD State (although I was going to go the other way)
Duke over Southern
Texas A&M over Syracuse
Illinois over Air Force
Utah State over Washington

GW gets through (Y) Gonzaga up by 3 with about 30 seconds left, here's hoping.

yep, Adam Morrison proved again why he is great (Y)

as for GW winning, it's bitter sweet....I like GW & Pops, but I really thought UNC-W would get up....they led by 3 with under 2 to go, but GW scored last 6pts....very disappointing....those 8 vs 9 games are always 50-50....

with that loss & the Zags victory, along with LSU victory, I'm 7-3, which is solid but that UNC-W loss really hurt....Goldsberry let me down

I'm 11-5 after day one, Syracuse was my worst pick  I had them going past the 2nd round. Along with Nevada.

Jae and X, I'm tied with you guys! Not sure if the standings are right though, cwebbiverson has 3 wrong (still good) and he gets 98.0% score. :?

I was wrong with: UNC-W, Syracuse, Marquette, Seton Hall and Nevada.

Apparently discovered this thread late

http://tidalwaveclan.com/zargotelc/bracket.html

UNC-W / GW was questionably the best game last night as GW came back from an 18 point deficit with a 19-0 run. I have got to rewatch that game on MMOD.

I had a sense Syracuse would lose becase A&M was a great team that beat Texas a few weeks back. When I reviewed the 5-12 matchups , Texas A&M was the 12 seed most likely to beat the 5 seed.

I had Seton Hall beating "unknown" Wichita State but the mid-major advanced. Damn it!

And I got Nevada wrong too. I didn't think they would lose to Montana.

Funny how in all my other brackets I had 130 points (and all with different losses and such) and the one chose for this group I had 120. Hmm...Oh well..Who knows.
Bored.

all the losses I had don't really effect my bracket as I had all of my wrong results getting bounced in 2nd Round anyways 8-)

cwebbiverson might be 1st at the moment, but he lost Seton Hall & Syracuse....he had both teams going to the Sweet 16....guess for some reason he liked the overrated teams from Jersey :P

at the moment I would consider myself & keepinitgangsta in the lead due to the PPR....our losses didn't hurt & the BC & UT wins were much more important for us than the losses (Y)

although tomorrow is a new day & brackets can be busted over night, so I wish everyone good luck & hope Cinderella does not strike again as my Cinderella's are more or less played out, came out with the Texas A&M & the UW-Milwaukee but missed out on the UNC-Wilmington & Utah State....ahh well, 50-50 is alright....

I had Winthrop! That really hurt. Bragging rights all down the drain. I only got 22 right first round but only had 2 of them going past round 2, Michigan St. and Winthrop who are both in the same section so I should be in decent shape for the long term.
