I think the loss of odom is really hurting the team's D, and without Odom pulling the other team's bigs out from the blocks, Kwame has had real hard time on Offense.

kobe and his huge ego might try to out-do Arenas when they travel to chicago next time around. Jordan's house. or maybe he'll stick to the team game.

and on their next game: i hope to hell the bigs rebound the ball against the rejuvinated Ben Wallace

Sasha is also a waste of money. All he does is clank threes and play defense with his hands.

Do the team have any PG that actually plays in the game not doing this?

I meant that Sasha always reaches for hand checks and gets fouls instead of moving his feet.

yeah he was touted as the Lakers's new PG and for his understanding of the triangle. funny how an inexperienced Smush outplayed him for the spot.

Farmar should start ASAP, I just hate Smush. One positive from the Wiz game is that Vlad did great, was very good, swished the open 3 AND went inside. All he needs to do is play some D and play consistently.

I meant both Smush and Jordan are playing D in this way.

Man, Kobe really stunk it up tonight. 6-19 shooting and I thought he would bounce back after giving Arenas 16 points in overtime. Maybe tomorrow, now with Phoenix on a roll Lakers have a danger of falling to 6th in the conference and they are 2.5 games behind 1st for the division.

Lakers defence stunk....Vlad, Smush, Sasha.....all got raped repeatedly. But for the shitty D, Lakers probably would have survived Kobe's poor shooting.

I dont deal with almosts.

Nice night out on the road tonight for the Lake show. Kobe hit 10 of 17 if I remember correctly and we got a batty wiggy out of Radmanovic.

Radman seems to be coming on as of late. The only person the Lamar injury really helps is him and its good to see him get the court time in so he can get better used to the LA system and what they expect of him out on the court. When Lamar comes back he'll be a key guy coming off the bench who will hopefully be comfortable enough to continue hitting those threes and taking pressure off some of the guys.

So anybody else checking out the game?

Lakers down big at the moment but its nothing they cant come back from. Hopefully Kobe's shots start to fall and we can steal this victory in Miami.

I am watching it .... Kobe showed weak shooting, but he has some assists I think. Wade did quite well in the 1st quarter, so did Zo. Lakers down 7 at half ... the deficit looks better than they played though.

Good game by Dwayne Wade. He was everywhere!!! Blocks, steals, jumpers and drives to the basket.
Kobe couldn't find his shot but Ronny Turiaf was pretty fun to watch.
Poor sportsmanship by the Miami fans at the end with the "Kobe sucks" chants.

Meh...doesnt bother me.

Wade was really good. Besides from the flopping time and time again trying to get a call he generally drove hard and finished strong at the bucket. And his jumpshot was a surprise to say the least.

Ah well, they won the battle today.

I thought the Kobe Sucks chants were midly entertaining.

They started it with about 30 seconds left in the game so Kobe couldn't do anything to shut them up. Still the Shaq-Kobe feud is over and they made up. Kobe has proved he is one of the best and besides it's Christmas.

It was very cowardly because they knew Kobe wasn't in the game. They very well know that if he was in the game and if it was like the 2nd quarter he would have shut them up.

Yes I did and I saw alot of drives to the hoop.

Wade's jumpshot isnt normally the greatest. I'd much prefer he pull up than drive to the hole. If you look at ll his jumpshots youd see most were uncontested due to respect for his driving game. He cant hit that consistently with defenders in his face (As you saw on occasion when he a took a midrange contested shot and couldnt hit more than glass).
