9/9 from the field, 10/10 from the line
This bothers me, not only from Kobe but from the whole NBA, when freethrows outnumber field goal shots.

another Lakers vs Clippers game tonight, on the Clippers home floor with the original Staples Center lighting..
really hope Lakers win this one!

Woohoo, nice win by the boys from LA over Indiana. Now their record is 12-5 and they sure look to be headed in the right direction.
Slight concern is Kobe seemd to pick up a little ankle injury but it doesnt seem too bad as he returned to the bench and didnt seem in too much pain. He had 21 pts in 22 minutes.

21 in 22...

Lakers are back!

You guys got to see the perfect example of how absolutley pathetic our defense and rebounding is tonight. If we don't put it together on that side of the floor this is going to be a fucking horrible season.

The lakers are looking really good with pratically every player averaging career bests.

We just need to play Baston/Oneal together for more minutes, And yeah Pacers played like shit!! We could have tied that fucking game, but we couldn't hit shit for 5 minutes

Amazingly, Kobe is a Laker. So yes, the Lakers are back.

I'm lovin this rite now...

I worried that Kobe's best years are behind him now Sad After coming back from surgery nobody is usually ever the same, especially knee surgery. Hes still showing that hes a prolific scorer with that 52 point game (30 of them in the 3rd, 9-9 from the field) but I dont think he can do what he could do last year and the years before that.
Sun Dec 10, 2006 6:04 pm
it's not like he had microfracture surgery... he's already back to his old ways
Sun Dec 10, 2006 8:27 pm
He may not be able to score 81 again, but he can certainly score 30 again and again...
So, I don't think there's anything wrong with him at all.
Edit: just noticed KB24 and K0bestar's signatures have the same Kobe photo.

Injuries come and go. Kobe has had quite a few of them, and he's always bounced back. He's just in incredible shape. Tonight is a big game against the Spurs. I would expect him to try to play if at all possible.

Hes definetly gone play tonight thats why Phil rested him Friday against the Hawks. This is an important game. Very.

But it's reported that after playing the Hornets his ankle was worse than when he rolled it. Phil didnt mean to rest Kobe but it was the ankle that forced him to sit after try for like 40mins to tape it. I jst hope they wont force to play him tonight, though it's a big game, it's just 1 of the 82, so they don't really have to risk.

It's a win over Spurs guys!

Kwame Brown.... mmm...

Impressions after seeing the game...
There was an early B. Cook sighting, and he looked good, given that no one expects a lot from him. There's even some possessions in which you can see Cook instructing Bynum on D, weird. Bynum just looked confused in the defensive rotation. His length really gave the other team some problems tho. But then again, you can see the Lakers not passing enough to him.
You can see Kobe trying to get back into rythm in the 4th quarter, maybe it was his ankle getting tight.
There were still a couple of obvious noncalls and some questionable calls that could have costed the Lakers a win.
Kwame was really big tonight, getting TD into foul trouble and going at him. his quick feet also helped the team big time on d, while showing aggressiveness on offense.
LO, again, missed a triple-doubles. great game from him and Luke.

Good win over the Spurs.....shows that Lakers are probably at the top of the 2nd tier West teams
Mon Dec 11, 2006 3:56 pm
Too bad we can't play like this against the likes of the Blazers, Hornets, Bucks, Pistons, etc.....
Mon Dec 11, 2006 8:01 pm
well now they have to go on the road..where they dont feed off a crowd's energy..well..except kobe..who loves being booed..

Wow Lakers nearly lose a 24 point lead. Oh well, Lakers still own the Pacific division.
Wed Dec 13, 2006 4:07 pm
Bad news though, Odom will be out a month. They need everybody on the team to be healthy to get through this tough stretch of road games and to lose Odom of all people isnt ideal.
Good win regardless of Kobe's bad shooting night. I hope they continue this positive stretch.
