That is from eighteen years ago. I was going to post that but it seems his contract is up to over 10 million now.

What, is the guy's salary a secret? The article shadowgrin linked to is the third result from Google of "david stern salary". An article from 1990!? The other results have nothing, except some blog talking about a rumour that has Stern's salary to over the max player salary.
This question has been asked before.
Cyanide, it's not you is it?

Would Josh Childress be a starting player if he was on another team?
Sun Apr 13, 2008 9:01 pm
Josh Childress should start on the Hawks. He's one of the most underrated players in the league and a great one that nobody realizes.
Sun Apr 13, 2008 9:01 pm
it depends on the team, but I'd still say no. If you can't start on a sorry team like ATL then hope you get traded to Miami.
Sun Apr 13, 2008 9:07 pm
That's the kind of thinking that NBA GMs live by.

I think he should too and I wholeheartedly agree with you about him being one of the most underrated players in the league.

Well, he does have Joe Johnson to contend with... and Josh Smith

It depends... for example if he is sent to Toronto, he would start.
for example if he is sent to New Jersey, he wouldnt start.

It's normal that Childress won't start in Atlanta, he has two key players on him, Joe Johnson and Josh Smith.

Have the Timberwovles ever won a championship?
Mon Apr 14, 2008 10:39 am
Yes, they had a string of titles in the 1970s. Weren't really a great team or had any notable players, you know how the league was back then.

Yeah, the "Wovles" were something else back then.
Mon Apr 14, 2008 10:41 am
They played as the "Kansas City Coastguards" then.

huh? Wouldn't they wear their white (home jerseys) every home game? Or do you mean even on the road they wear white (on sundays)?

Question: Why does every team in the NBA wear throwback jerseys in at least one game except for the Toronto Raptors?
Tue Apr 15, 2008 12:52 am
I would have to make a quick guess that it is because the throw back jerseys were meant to boost jersey sales. And the league knows that Canadians are not to fond of jerseys, and that Toronto might not be a good market for it.
Where did you even figure out that "all" teams have a throw back jersey night? Anyway, this is from last year, see that merchandise from the Raptors aren't exactly flying off the shelves:

I don't think it's "the league" that decides what jerseys a team should wear.
Tue Apr 15, 2008 8:59 am
I don't think you WANT the raptors to wear their old ones.
you fail to realize that they're only on their second design. you want them to bring back the purple ones for throwbacks?
Tue Apr 15, 2008 10:02 am
Charlotte is not using old jerseys either
Maybe its because there were bad seasons, very bad seasons when they wore
black/purple jerseys and they dont want to bring those memories back.
Tue Apr 15, 2008 10:12 am
Are you confusing the Charlotte Bobcats with the Charlotte Hornets?
Tue Apr 15, 2008 10:17 am
Nop, I was talking about the Bobcats, it was a joke anyway.

I think the bottom line is that it's a good way of honouring a team's history while generating extra revenue, so it's become a league-wide practice.

who do you think (more than one) is an underated player?
- I'd say Luther Head is one... if only Rick Adelman plays him more he would be dropping 18, 20 a night... he's capable
what do you think?
Wed Apr 16, 2008 4:35 pm
I'd rather you started a seperate thread on that question.
