this will happen with anyone who is a fanboy of a player. imo jordan becomes untouchable simply because the rules of the game make it easier for players today. when people measure greatness they measure offensive numbers. well in todays game offensive number are much easier to get. cant even look at a player without sending him to the line. jordan played when the rules made scoring harder and he is still the top scorer in the history of the game (not total points of course). same logic goes into why no one will ever touch kareem in the ncaa. they literally changed the rules to make life harder for him and he still shit on everyone.
of course there is a flip side to this. jordan and pippen are remembered a lot for their defense and people use it a lot as the deciding factor but they were given the benefit of the hand check, you telling me kobe or lebron would not be better defensively (maybe nor jordan/pippen level but still much better) if they could push people around the court?

I been saying he's the real deal and Donovan Mitchell was not even close for the season.
His experience against LeGoat will be valuable going forward. Hope he leaves the Celtics tho and join the real team.Dee4Three wrote:Your words give me headaches.
Stay on topic and stop provoking unless you'd like to be called an idiot again. Thanks, bye.

It's not as if the past rules did not favor Michael Jordan. It's just an excuse, you sauru in deep heart realize this. Superstars back then had a lot of favoritism going on as well, especially Jordan(he was an icon of favoritism). But as a starting point, you and I probably realize Jordan religion is stupid as much as any extreme fanboism of particular player like Kobe or LBJ.
It's also funny how fully grown up adults constantly get into arguments who is really better in hypothetical cross era discussion as if it's a matter of life and death. Jordan simply accomplished more. LBJ is the closest thing to the Jordan and rightfully so these two guys deserve to be considered tier above rest of the league(unless your name is Wilt or Bill but that is completely different discussion/era). But that's not to say Michael >>> LeBron entirely. There are some aspects that LBJ was better and has accomplished more. This is not me speaking driven by emotions or with "I know more than you" 9 year old attitude like some idiots out there. But it's an assessment of most analytics that I come to agree to.
Verdict is that who the fuck really cares. Jordan could or can't, LBJ could or can't. At the end of the day it's something that can never happen in this universe. This is why you look at only the facts and avoid discussion with bunch of "OH OH I KNOW" people with only idiotic things to say.
Most old forum guys including you already know I am not even a LBJ fan. I dumped that bitch when he left Wade, remember? More so than me being in defense of LBJ, it's usually me being protective of analytics. We all have something to believe in, some idiots invest only in emotions, some in experience and wisdom, some in math. I will say this much that I don't believe you fall into first or third category. Now let's go back to shit talking that's more fun.
