Awesome block, I don't think I'd call it the best I've ever seen but a great rejection nevertheless.

Hard fall, but a great block.

The best two of his nineteen fourth quarter points against the Suns today. He and Westbrook combined for a lazy 77.

Awesome.

Moving on to something a little stranger...

I am reading Bill Simmon's book of basketball right now and after finishing Nique's chapter I had to rewatch some of his stuff - those dunks are still sick despite being really 80ies style (a lot of 80ies dunks seem so simple compared to LeBron getting alley oops from D-Wade every game). The dunks vs Boston are the best ones if you ask me.
Wed Jan 16, 2013 11:19 am
There's still flair, power, elevation, extension...today's players have been able to refine the art form of creative dunking and put their own spin on it, but the dunks of Dr J, Nique and MJ still hold up in my opinion. Fun top ten to watch to this day.

9 and 6 for me. Despite the bump he still managed to dunk that one two-handed and he just posterized 3 players with 2 of them jumping.

6 and 4 - getting that putback on his own miss isn't too shabby.

Howe come Jaosming wasn't in that? That first guy couldn't hit the rim. I'm calling bullshit. Boston had much better players, I'm sure.I also don't like their"style" of one on one with one shot being the possession before takeout. Rebounding factors into the game and it apparently didn't matter there.
Thu Jan 24, 2013 4:21 am
its a way to limit the size factor, which I do call BS on. Someone the other week wanted to play me 1 on 1 with that no-rebound crap, said it wasn't fair because I'd get all the rebounds otherwise....refused to play me after the "well, then don't miss" comment.

That was just him conceding and saying you would win. Anybody who is quick enough has enough of an advantage in that area to be competitive.

Entertaining stuff. The Vanilla Godzilla hung it up too soon, due to the shortsightedness of all 30 GMs.
