Bosh 5 rebounds today. Better effort

Great game by the big 3. Generally a sloppy win overall, but I'll take it.
Bron attacked more -- which he failed to do so before. I hate it when he's passive and only takes J's. He needs to keep attacking and get to the line.
Bosh has definitely improved. Still needs more rebounds, though.
Interestingly, more tests are on the way for Miami soon, they would face Utah and Boston as part of their homestand. Definitely a good measuring stick, so let's see how Spo tweaks things more.

Hornets' record is still unblemished.. that is all..

Brooks sprained his ankle pretty bad last night. Looks like he may be out for a couple of weeks. Martin is also hurt. Way to start the season for the Rockets. FML

Don't be so emo Modi, today we're against the T-Wolves! If we can't beat them, we officially suck, and there is no way I'm going to watch a Rockets game at Toyota Center this season.

Still though, the good news was that Martin came back to the bench after his injury, I'm sure Rick Adelman didn't want to risk playing him though.

The Rockets are 0-5. Teams that they've lost to have a combined record of 25-5. Maybe it's just that we're losing to good teams.
If we lose to the Wolves tomorrow, oh well. I'm pretty sure that Brooks will be out tomorrow though. His x-rays were negative but there are no news regarding Martin yet on Clutchfans and Twitter.

Indeed.

Damn, Brand has been looking pretty good so far this season.

Turner with his first double-double.

Elton Brand is back to his all-star form. Whether is lasts remains to be seen, but if he keeps this up, I reckon they'll sneak into the post-season.

The Rockets finally win!

Yao looked great today, and Martin can play through the injury!

Pistons play well enough for a second win in a row. Still have no idea what to make of them. Greg Monroe is looking better as the games go on though, so that's good. Stuckey has played as aggressive as I've seen him early this year, so that's good. I also read that Memphis and Zack Randolph continue to disagree about a contract extension his preferred destination is Detroit.
Not sure if that's good.

Wouldn't be the Pistons frontcourt be stacked?
Mon Nov 08, 2010 3:48 pm
Z-Bo is not only an expiring, but also far better than anybody on the Pistons. If I were Dumars, I would be open to dealing anybody not named Monroe, Daye or maybe Jerebko.

Shit, you're right I didn't even think of him as an expiring, just a bad defender. But in order for his expiring to be valuable Memphis would have to take on guaranteed salary (aka Rip). Maybe Dumars would swap Tay's expiring for Z-bo? I doubt Memphis has any interest in that with their 72 million dollar SF.
By no means would I say the front court is stacked. I'm assuming this is the swan song for Ben Wallace, so you hope to have Monroe step into the center spot next year. That leaves you with Jerebko (coming off a torn achilles), Daye, Villanueva, and Maxiell. Daye and Jerebko aren't even true PFs, and if they can trade Maxiell he'll be gone because his rotation spot is non-existent at this point. I'm assuming the best big man available in the 2011 NBA Draft is going to reside in Detroit next season as well.

Seems that Carter not afraid to go at the rim anymore, but missing key free throws are bad. What's with Joe Johnson not playing like a star? He supposed to lead the team for crying out loud.

Maybe because he's not one? I've always thought that he just does everything he does a little bit better than average.

He is no T-Mac in his prime nor a Carmelo Anthony kind of guy but at least he should deliver at clutch moments. I have watched the last minute of the Hawks and Magic game and it was awful for Atlanta.
On the other hand the Mavericks beat Boston

Dirk scoring the last 7 points but having 4 turnover is

I was bothered that the Mavs were unable to trade for Chris Paul during the off-season. I still am.
