The perhaps I'm right part said enough for me.

We hate it when Kobe jockers do it, so seeing you do it will just encourage them and I think I speak for the lot when I say we've had enough of that garbage.

Yea good..but my reasoning behind it is enough for me. I'm making the choice to hit the kobe bandwagon today cause he's impressed me in this series. So i'll say it again...kobe is as clutch as jordan ever was. :)

now thats jumping the gun. surpass? tie? kobe is simply a pale imitation. Lebron is the next standard for greatness. Bryant has never even been the best player in the nba.... ever. Not to mention only having 2 seasons of being the best player on his team. :D 3rd greatest sg in nba history? sure. similar playing style to mj? sure. surpass? tie? not even close.
.

perhaps you dont understand english..but i wasn't saying kobe has surpassed jordan. I dont think he has for that matter....i was making a generalization for the future.

3-1

I wouldnt call 9-14 shotting with 8 assists very bad. Maybe the 7 turnovers. Oh well.

Foul trouble was a pain in the ass.

I believe that was at the SBC Center.

Nice shot by Kobe. Refs really let them play this game, which I like to see, except some calls were questionable.

Lebron?! What has he done to get that kinda status? Probably lots of game winners, lots of playoff experience, many winning season, a few championships...the list goes on.

Have your fun guys. I don't know how you guys could possibly have a clear conscience after the BS that just unfolded in front of our very eyes.

BEST FUCKING GAME I HAVE EVER SEEN

oh good lord i just woke my parents up screaming when smush made the steal and kobe forced OT and then Kobe made the game winner, throwing my shirt at the sofa and shit, omg. what a fucking game.
and suns fans are already in here bitching about it, jesus, it was a fucking incredible game, the suns played it out and had the win and the lakers got it back end of, even if it was a foul not a jumpball (which replays proved wrong) if the call had been the other way round none of you wouldve said shit. It was an unreal game, with a fantastic finish. This is why i love this game muhfucka.
You KNOW im getting a copy of that game for keeps.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Kobe right now is the best individual player in the league hands down, but that doesnt make him the best team player or anything.... Anyway... This is great but i dont think the lakers will get out of round two. Phoenix i thought was the only team, aside from like the kings or nuggets or grizzlies (none of whom will likely advance out of the first round) that the lakers had a shot at beating in a series. They play the kind of ball that phoenix doesnt play well against, its like when phoenix played the sonics, the sonics could always beat them cuz they played similar styles of basketball.

did anyone see if smush parker was out of bounds when he helped steal the ball to send the game into OT? i couldnt tell. if he tipped the ball while out of bounds it should have been called.

Clear conscience?...we weren't the refs.

They'll be facing the Clipper more than likely. Even if its Denver they can handle them.

there is a difference between winning a game and having a game handed to you. Lakers would have never won without that bullshit call.

Great! Then you can have the opportunity to review the travesties at the end of the 4th and OT.

I'm just glad I'm getting my programming for free, otherwise I'd be sickened to think the NBA is profiting off my viewing.

That still doesn't tell me why we shouldn't have a clear conscience. We had 0 impact on the outcome of the game

Mon May 01, 2006 9:13 am

if the lakers go past the second round im seriously gonna go on a screaming naked victory lap around my quiet little village at 2 in the morning the celebrate.
Shit if they win this series i'll do it

Either way it wasnt handed to them. It was a clean layup of freethrows or something. Jumpball was 50/50. It was a 50/50 jumpshot and I think many people wouldnt have predicted 2 clutch hits like that from Kobe.

"Please hand me a shot to win the game with 2 guys in my face shooting a fade."

I feel sorry for your neighbors :(

It's not like the "foul" is an open and shut case like the LeBron travel. It's certainly open to debate.
