Are you fucking insane? How can this be in the slightest fucking bit surprising? It happens every fucking year. The Lakers got so many calls in their favor when they habitually came back against the Kings, and it continues to happen again this year. They get away with foul after foul on either inbounds plays, or traps, every single year.

I'm done with the playoffs this year... what a fucking biased joke.

Axel, That might be taking it a little far, the game was called quite nicely until that last play and the colossol screw-up.

edit: And of course the last play of regulation where Walton (him again? Weird.) grabbed Jones.

Seriously...should there be any doubt who the most clutch guy in the nba is? Is Kobe as clutch as Jordan ever was?..hell no and hell yes.

I cant even comment on it since I didnt see it clearly. I never really saw any signal for a timeout and if he was calling for it then it would have been cuz he was in trouble and at that point it wouldnt be too fair to call it since he wouldnt have clear possession.

Again, I will wait to see it again.

Maybe the refs didnt feel Nash was MVP either?

good game for the lakers, refs may have missed calls, but blaming them changes nothing. Both teams played their hearts out, both teams deserved a win. Lakers supporting cast are actually outplaying the suns, never saw that happening. smush parker for mvp!! :D

and sorry laker homers, but nash is still the mvp and still deserves it (at least over bryant) :D

the lakers are fucking scrappy. i have no idea how they pulled that miracle off. the shot that sent the game into OT and the game winner were both scramble plays. unbelievable. imo, the one that tied the game was a more difficult shot.. did you guys see the angle he had and how high he had to throw it up? amazing.

If it hasn't became inherently obvious by now I suppose some people will never notice. The NBA is hands down the worst officiated of all professional sports leagues. They make calls in favor of the superstar, and or the the more popular team all the time. Amazing how they could somehow miss Lebron's travel yesterday, and once again, they blow a huge call in favor of the Lakers.

The only call that mattered was the last one.

It was great man. Kobe with a game-tying shot to beat the buzzer and a game winner. People next door are probably wondering what was happening to me when all this was going down.

I was like..

"HOLY FUCKSHIT!!"
"SUCK THAT PHOENIX, EAT SHIT!!"

This is why kobe bryant has taken the reigns of jordan in my opinion ..the guy is totally amazing.

Honestly, I see no point in why you are doing that? Why does everyone feel the need to bring up Michael Jordan everytime Kobe Bryant does something Michael was amazing at? Just leave it be, stop with all the he's the next Jordan, I get you're hyped about the amazing shot, but honestly, the few posts in this thread were simply annoying.

For those complaining about the debatable non foul call....it's ok to cry about it. Let it out..you'll feel better.

Perhaps you're right....but i choose to compare him to jordan cause he is the standard for basketball greatness imo. Whenever someone comes close to his greatness, suprasses or even ties it....i feel the need to make a comment about it. Those that dont like it can ignore meh.

There's just something special about the Staple Center.

1. The ball magically end up in Robert Horry's hands agains the Kings.

2. Derect Fisher with probably the best shot in history against the Spurs.

3. And now the the ball got stolen twice in the lat seconds, and two big shots were made as a result.

There is got to be a curse or something.

The perhaps I'm right part said enough for me.

We hate it when Kobe jockers do it, so seeing you do it will just encourage them and I think I speak for the lot when I say we've had enough of that garbage.

Man Phoenix is in a hole(ditch or anything deep) right now.

Now LA has to win 1 of 3. I hope they dont think about it much and get passive. Oh well, Phoenix is gonna come out blazing on all cylinders game 5 so they gotta be prepared.

Makes me think of all the ESPN guys who predicted LA would be lucky to see game 6. Greg Anthony was the only guy picking the Lakers. As of today he must look pretty smart around their studio.

now thats jumping the gun. surpass? tie? kobe is simply a pale imitation. Lebron is the next standard for greatness. Bryant has never even been the best player in the nba.... ever. Not to mention only having 2 seasons of being the best player on his team. :D 3rd greatest sg in nba history? sure. similar playing style to mj? sure. surpass? tie? not even close.

that said, again, respect to the lakers for a good game (and what looks like a good series). and respect to bryant for making the shot. but don't let the orgasm scramble your brain.
