The key word "final minute". He was choking in late 4th, in all OTs in ception of last 1 min.
didn't play up to the reputation he earned. It was cos(artest, gasol, odom) that won kobe a game.

Fantastic game. Even though the Suns weren't making the playoffs, it's still sad to see their chances die like this. Going out with a bang anyway... Both teams played very well, though I'm surprised by Gentry not using his bench in the 3 OT's. Brooks should have played the first half of that third overtime at the very least, and Mickael Pietrus (and pretty much anybody else) would have been far better than Carter.

Sounds like I made the right call. The selection of games here has been rather subpar recently.

good bit of variety today, though. A 33-point blowout and a triple overtime game.

Yep.

The game's in Phoenix, by the way. The NBA isn't going to send a team across a continent to play back-to-back games.

Oops. Got confused there. @ PHX

Anyways, LAL vs PHX was one of the better games this season. Intensity, clutch plays and playoffs atmoshpere. All were there (Y)
Was worth skipping out on study group.

Rajon Rondo had 11 assists, 11 rebounds, but only 6 points. :o That's the worst way to miss a triple-double- not getting enough points. He also had 7 steals.

edit-While I'm on the topic of triple-doubles, Chuck Hayes has one right now.

"worst way to miss a triple-double"
LOL. Not all players strive for a triple double like Ricky Davis or Andre Blatche. I doubt Rondo was that aware of the near accomplishment during game time.

i'm sure he was he just sucks at putting the ball in the basket. they got statisticians on the bench

and is it just me or should Miami be losing more close games when they choose to put Lebron or Wade at the line at the end of tight games instead of Miller, House, or Jones?

The Bulls now have 1 game cushion over Boston. Wow... a bad time to play bad for Boston. With bunch of new guys, understandable though.

True, but it's kind of disappointing when you actually find out you had all those assists and rebounds, but you couldn't rack up enough points. It happened to me once a couple years back, fairly disappointing.

Also, Blake Griffin finally got a T-D yesterday as well!

Was i seeing things, or who was it that blocked a Blake Griffin shot? The shot was like a floater. I think it was JaVale McGee, i couldn't tell, can anyone confirm this?

Amazing shot. Too bad it was overshadowed by West's knee injury. :(

That was a nice shot!

Too bad about David West though. Hornets are going to suck again.great news: the farther the hornets fall, the bobcats will get a better draft pick!!!

It also opens up the seventh seed for the Rockets! If they can keep their win streak going, and if the Hornets go on a 3+ game losing streak in the closing weeks of the season, it's possible, though unlikely.

Still, that's a nice shot by Okafor. Once the season's over, it has to be in the top 10 buzzer-beaters of the season. :)

David West is out for the rest of the year with a torn ACL, so the door might still be open.

Charlotte Bobcats without Stephen Jackson and Tyrus Thomas tonight, Bobcats have somehow pulled off a crazy 13-0 run against Boston. Currently Charlotte leads by 3!!!

Wade with 39 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists, 5 blocks and 3 steals. One of these days he will join the 5-by-5 club.

Cleveland snapped another loosing streak, nice job cavs. Kaman and Fisher got into a little scuffle there in the game with the Lakers.
