BROOKLYN NETS 2012/2013 LOGO UPDATE

Today, I've got a logo update for the Brooklyn Nets. Now, the team's name and logos are shown in the game. Final adjustments on the team's move will be made in the teams.dbf of the roster update.

Does anyone can post a shot of the loading screen that shows the Brooklyn Nets load logo? For some reason, which I don't know, I always have a technical problem with the loading screen, and I just wanna know whether that logo is displayed correctly.

That happens to me too, probably the result of an old game being run on newer hardware.

Just a litlie note re the roster update. As the teams are set for the new season, I started to create rookies and other players new to the latest update. This is done very fast. However, the rating thing will be take a longer time, maybe three or four weeks. Until then, be patient. :wink:

I'm far with the roster. However, the rookie's ratings will keep me busy a while. You know, collecting and analysing stats and reports. Well...

Here are the current rosters for NBA Live 2000!

Before you install the patch, please read the Roster12-13_readme text file. In that I explain what the most important features of this roster patch are and how it is to be installed. If those instructions are not sufficient, please send me a PM and I will help you.

Of course I’m curious about your opinions. Such a patch isn’t a perfect thing, you can give advice for rating players or other things. Maybe I will release a midseason update so all advice can be helpful.

I already have thoughts about the ratings, especially the field goal rating. Each player scored 14 points per game and more last season should have a FG rating of 62 up to 90 (Kevin Durant). So, those players could fake and should be able to reach a realistic point per game level. The lowest FG rating would be 34 for 0 points per game.

As you probably know, the ratings above are not the in-game ratings but the players.dbf ratings. In-game ratings are calculated as followed: dfb rating devided by 2 plus 50. So, the highest rating would be 95 (Durant for his 28,03 ppg last season) and the lowest one would be 67 (Gadzuric, Brockman, Diop). The players.dbf rating of 62 would be an in-game rating of 81. With this rating a player can fake and drive in superstar mode.

Btw, I'm working on a roster update. After some simulated games and franchise seasons I realised that ratings for field goals, three pointers, offensive awareness and fatigue need to be modified. One or two weeks and an update can be released.

2012/2013 Roster Update 1.1

I've updated the roster patch as many players' ratings had to be modified. Now the patch is much more realistic and Orlando's E'Twaun Moore isn't 6 ft 11 any longer. :mrgreen:

Also, a new player has been added - Kevin Jones, Cleveland Cavs.

Just overwrite the existing "200" folder within your NBA Live 2000 "saves" directory.

Nice job. For future reference though, you don't need to create a new database entry each time you update a file; you can edit your own uploads in the Downloads section. You can even leave the old versions available to download if you like. More info in this video:

I have no idea what the name of that font is. I rather think that it is a self-created font. At least I browsed through my collection of Linotype TTF Fonts, and I couldn't find a font like that.

I've made the yellow alternate Cavs jersey, which the team obviously wears at home only. So, I call it...

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS ALTERNATE HOME UNIFORM

You can install this patch, if you like the yellow jersey rather than the white one. If you want the white one back, re-install Rix' Cavs jerseys.
