nba live 2000 graphic problem

i installed nba live 2000 today on win xp service pack 3
but there is a problem:
when i start game
all menu names crash
for example when i paused game the left most menu name is quit but some chars. like %, +, & ,... appear on the menu box and also the loading screen crashes sometimes
how can i fix this problem
my graphic card is geforce 9600gt
