Help With My Rig

Sat Oct 10, 2015 2:17 pm

Hey All,

Started a new thread because I'd like help knowing how best to set myself up to have the best experience playing NBA 2K16. I think I have a good to great laptop (yes, I knowingly paid more to have a gaming laptop), but because I'm not super PC/tech-savvy, I'm asking the community to assist me in both having the best gaming eperience; while learning how to understand and grade my PC on my own.

So, knowing that 2K hasn't realeased/patched the most optimized port, I'm asking you all to both suggest and explain what settings I should use for 2K16. I know that I may have to edit settings within the game and through my GPU settings (NVIDIA), so here's my 'rig':

Lenovo Y-510P
GPU: 2x NVIDIA GT750M
RAM: 16GB
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.4GHZ
System Type: 64-bit x64-based processor

I think/thought that this hardware would be above and beyond playing this game, but I may not know how to select the appropriate settings; if possible, I'd be willing to upgrade my GPU.

Thanks for any help,
Iasounis

P.S. I also use Razer Cortex when loading the game.

We almost have the same rig. I'm using a Lenovo Y-series as well (2k display) and I run the game smoothly with crowd on med/low and AA on 2 or 4. All max except those 2 and you're good to go.
