No Rasheed. I also personally am not getting any improvement in framerate or anything like that. Hard to say what the update contained.

Edit: Also, I get a black rectangle that takes up most of the screen for a few seconds when starting a game or scrimmage. Mildly annoying, but causes no actual issues to gameplay.

Been playing for around 5 minutes with the update. I hope it's a hotfix of some sort. So far I notice that the aspect ratio glitch isn't occurring on PC where you alt tab and then go back to the game and the window is reduced in size by black bars on the top and bottom. Maybe this will fix the control glitch when going into instant replay mode too.

In addition to the black rectangle created by this update, I now have to do without player icons on the screen when pressing LB to call a play.

Edit: No icons on dribble handoffs or lead passes anymore either. I really want to love this game, but this PC port is really making things hard.

Correct. Seems to be another user on OS reporting the same.

Edit: To clarify, player icons when passing and switching players on defense still work. Only the specific examples I listed seem to be the problem. Also, all icons worked just fine before the update, this bug is new.

So Leftos, where can we find the patch notes? Also, is there any chance we might actually see patch notes on Steam when we click the Client Updates link for NBA2K16 within our Library?

Even with the update applied with my vsync set from nvidia panel when i turn up super sample to 3 the fps still drop to 1fps.

I know that was meant to be helpful, but 2K does not do that much at all. Definitely not for its sports games, nor most of its other titles on Steam.
XCOM? Yeah, at least a little.
Borderlands? Nope.
Borderlands 2? Nope.
Civilization V? One post (of 52 total posts on Steam) from Dave Hinkle... That's a nope.
MLB2K games? Yeah... Right...
NBA2K14? Nope.

First patch after the release should contain fixes for most common issues. VC glitch is def one of them but .. that's all? Seriously?

Oh god. Even with supersample set to 1 (0 in config file), I can't see the icons of the players during plays. The icons which show you who are you supposed to pass the ball to. I don't know how to start a freakin play now. Also, when I hold B to dribble pitch, there is no icon showing up so I know which player comes over to take the ball. I want those back.

Edit: When I press LB to select the player I want to start a play for, there are no icons showing either. When I press Y to make a player cut to the basket, there is nothing showing above his head either. I had every one of those before the update, can't notice any good difference yet. I hope the 2k team will look into it.

After update, 3 games, minor things :
- coach is back in auto mode, not in options menu but he takes timeouts, changes roster etc...
- game language come back in french in steam (awful translation)

Oh my God, this patch is another Epic Fail by 2ksport.

No icons for LB button is a new bug introduced by this patch. A very important and dramatic bug.

The FPS is worse after the patch than before. There are more bugs than before. I guess the PC community has been left to rotten once again.

I have a question... the game never asked me for my activation code (I bought the MJ edition for $80 on steam, never got my VC but I could really care less about that). Am I not going to get these updates if my game isn't activated? I was on this game all night last night and I never got this update.

Leftos, 2k really needs to make it easier for people to activate the product, that is a simple first step that should happen right after we install the game.

Hopefully the next update though (If I can have it) includes stopping the unrealistic forced collisions on drives, it ruins the whole flow of the game, and hopefully fixes the unnecessary hesitation movements by ballhandlers that you the user is not doing.

If you bought it from Steam you are fine, I don't think 2K has ever required you to put the CD key in to access online, If a game needs it's CD key for any kind of key check Steam will give you a popup telling you that you might need the CD key.

You can get VC if you enter your activation code (CD key) in the "Locker Room codes" or whatever it is called.

I honestly don't see the point in releasing a 88mb patch update with no notes.
