Custom roster for blacktop mode

Can anything other than the default roster be used for blacktop gameplay? It can be used for regular exhibition games but not blacktop mode.

I have tried loading the roster at the exhibition screen first, but it automatically goes back to the default roster anytime I exit that mode. Can this be fixed or are we locked into using the default roster for all blacktop mode games?

Wow I guess not....

Even after the patch still nothing. Maybe the roster editor can bypass this?

2K15's workaround of enabling custom rosters in MyLeague doesn't seem to work this year.

I also would like to be able to use custom rosters in blacktop mode. I very rarely play this mode now because we are forced to use default; I didn't even know about that workaround in 2K15. They fix the wrong 'bugs' like being able to use custom rosters in Blacktop mode and having the ability to add more than 15 players to a team roster.
