NBA2K16 PC Stuttering

Hello, i got i7-4770 and GTX 780, experiencing heavy stuttering, the game seem to be slowed down. I run Antialising at quality 8, Dynamic Vsync Off and Supersampling off(1). FPS seem to be fine, but the game just somehow feels so slow, and stutters a lot. Anybody had the same issue?

Yeah a lot of bugs this Year. MyPark is stuttering like crazy on a GTX980 and when you tap-out you can't get back into the Game. And the Pre-Order Stuff is missing ._.

Are you guys playing with high level of detail?

Last year, early on before they started patching the game and when the servers were a mess I got stuttering and audio drop out with the "special effects" setting on. Turning it off fixed it, later this went away so I assume it got patched or drivers took care of it or something. Everything else on high was fine. Maybe give that a try? If it doesn't work, you only lost a minute or so to test it.

No problem with mine. No stuttering. All high, AA at 4, supersampling off, reso at 2560 x 1440.
My gpu is AMD R9 290 and cpu is fx 8350.
Never try online mode.

I'm currently downloading the nba 2k16 on steam, do you think they'll provide an early fix about this stuttering and keyboard issue? I have an Nvidia geforce gtx 750 ti and i5 4460.

I get real bad stuttering during game play, but cut scenes are smooth as butter. Isn't this the opposite problem compared to last year?

anyway, when did the fix came out in nba 2k15? how long was the wait?

As soon as I get my hands on the game I will post how it performs with gtx 980 ti..if it will stutters with it its definatelly code problem..users complaining should post full pc specs because not only the gpu might be the reason..

I have nvidia geforce gtx 750 TI which is the recommended one, i5 4460 @3.20gh processor, 4gb ram(planning to add another 4gb when I have the money) , windows 10, h81m-ds2 motherboard. @jay-r

I have a gtx 970 and a i5 quad,

maxed out everything (1080p) and getting a very steady 60fps in gameplay

but MASSIVE stuttering in the pregame show while the game loads. thats no big deal as long as gameplay is stable.

but then my rig is pretty high end.

I will and post full set of settings both from the game and nvidia control panel. I currently ran nba 2k15 with DSR eanbled (if i remember correclty 4k with 33% smoothness) and it runs with no stuttering whatsoever. I am still not sure if I will get the game today, since I did pre-order it but at least yesterday steam was still showing that it will unlock on September 29, 2015. Is the feature - nba 2k16 available 4 days before initial release date for those who pre-ordered it, region based or its the same all over the world ?

It's all over the world. If you pre order it, you get an unic preorder code and you can still activate it until the 29th

got a quad i7 clocked at 3.8 and a GTX 980 Ti. was able to run NBA2K 15 at 1440p at full butter speeds 60fps. wen i got a 144hz monitor i was able to get a speady 120 fps. As soon i installed this game last night i knew it wasnt going to be the same butter. The game studders horrendously. i didnt look up the fps i was getting but it didnt matter. i played for like 30 mins and went t bed. i went to sleep feeling very disappointed. I had looked forward to this game for soo long i couldnt believe 2K allowed this game to slip by them in this condition. It definately needs a patch

I am sorry for your disappointment but on the other hand I am glad the game lags on any rig. I thought my rig wasn't good enough but I see that is not the case.

I'm having no stuttering issues. High presets. Anti-aliasing at 4, AA quality at 8, Supersampling off(0), Crowd detail medium. I have the following pc specs:

AMD FX 8350 (*core)
16GB GSkill RAM 1333Mhz
Sapphire Dual-X R9 280 3GB

Wait for a patch and maybe you'll be able to run the game with the crowd on high + better AA settings

Me too having a very horrible stuttering with my GTX 960.
Very compliments to 2Ksport and 2Ksport testers, bad code optimization and very bad testing.

Good thing I haven't bought it yet. Will wait for a patch before buying

Yes, don't buy Nba2k16 before patch release.

Every time same story: all summer Mike Wang and company chatter of what the game has improved, and every time when the game is on sale we have to note the optimization has been done with ass.
This game is not playable.

The game is a mess then? I tought they would learn from last year PC release debacle... It was bad, a stutterfest. I am dissapointed in 2ksports, I tought I would buy this game, but Im gonna play nba 2K15 instead as its a better game judging from the comments on 2k16.
