Hahahaha. Hate it when your player has a 90 rating and is wide open, but misses his shot. But when you shoot against 2 defenders, S-W-I-S-H. :mrgreen:

It's a good approach. Perfect releases for good shooters should be high percentage attempts, but not guaranteed buckets.

It's the optimal release point, for the highest percentage attempt with that player and from that spot on the floor.

Then it becomes how easy the stroke is to master. People in nba 2k7 shooting 100% fts with Ben Wallace but missing with Yao

It happens a lot irl when deandre Jordan shoots with great form but still misses simply because he's not a good ft shooter

NBA Elite 11 would be another good example: master the release point in the demo, and you could make hook shots from the three-point line, no sweat.
