MyTEAM Lineups

Anyone care to share their current MyTEAM lineups?

I figured it was finally time to create my MyTEAM this year, so my lineups in both the PC and PlayStation 4 version of NBA 2K16 are comprised of starter pack players. Last year, I drew Joel Anthony on the PC upon starting MyTEAM. Would I have the same luck this year? Unfortunately not...



No Greatness that is Joel on the PS4 either, but it was at this point I remembered that I'd pre-ordered NBA 2K16 on PS4, and thus had some MyTEAM bonuses to look forward to:



I suppose Rookie MJ will make up for no Joel. The pre-order packs were underwhelming, however. All in all, I think I got a better crop of players from the Bulls starter pack, and bonus "thanks for watching the MyTEAM tutorial video" pack.

I'm surprised people even play it, especially since the devs are quite slow on progress If I'm honest. I mean just look at my profile picture....

MyTeam is my mode at the moment. I'm actually getting some good cards this year.




I used to play Giannis at power forward and Nick Van Exel at the point. I also switch out Omer Asik for Timofey Mozgov from time to time.

Actually last night I go pretty good price in AH for one historic player (whose name I shan't recall ). SF OVR 89, hot zones all over the court except for the 3.

He now starts instead of Kawhi. Randolph is gone.

Well, today I managed to get Timmy Duncan (87) for 3000 MT on AH and 2010 David Lee (84, TBT) for another 3000. Not a bad day.

Nothing too crazy but this is a really fun team to play with. All of these have been rewarded through domination wins or cards I've won off of auctions.

Nice! I just picked up Wade and DeAndre super cheap... could really use a shooter like Klay. Might be tough to score with this lineup.

I actually picked up '13 Ray Allen for not too much and put him in even though he's silver. Instead of Rudy Gay I believe.

Classic MJ buried on the bench? Blasphemy!

...but probably fair, given the overall ratings of everyone else.

Haha, he looks buried, but in reality he plays fair amount of minutes.

I often slide klay to SF slot and play MJ/Klay combo.

Truth be told I have guards in my collection which are better on paper, but MJ is freakishly athletic, so he still has important spot on the roster.

Same way Bosh often plays as a center. Most often with Timmy.

Parted ways with my dynamic Kanter, it was sooo tough to do but the market is coo coo for these dynamic cards. Even if he ends up being an amethyst for whatever reason, I'd probably rarely use him.

Picked up Westbrook, Kawhi, and Horford.




Listing a bunch of my 'rare'? bronzes for collectors and a few other cards that seemed to be going for a lot. Hopefully actually playing the AH will give some flexibility....as long as I don't just waste it all in packs again.

I have finished Historic Domination about 3 weeks ago.
My current team goes like

Starters : Jason Kidd, Scottie Pippen, Melo, Aldridge, Cousins
Bench: Westbrook, Wade, K. Leonard, Griffin, Jordan
Benchwarmers : Wall, Butler, Duncan

It looks good, I know, but I am actually disappointed I had bad luck in pack openings. You would expect to pull at least one amethyst card by the end of the historic domination, never was my case. I've never pulled one. And from the lineup I am currently using, Melo, Leonard, Wade and Wall were the only players I got in the packs, the rest of them were bought.

I think I'm done relying on packs. if I can sell Bronzes like this...



...forget it. I am not going to be a completionist for the special balls, so there is no reason to hold on to any of these guys, and I have no intention of playing RTTP because of my frequent pause breaks for this that or other stuff.

I just want an awesome team, and then I'll worry about getting bronzes back for challenges or whatnot.

I mean, I could take that MT, buy 4 dynamic rating packs, then sell the dynamic player to get my MT back (hopefully). Or I can spend all of that and get another 4 gold players, at least, from the AH, guaranteed.

I just need to figure out what I want to do badges wise. They are way too expensive on the AH, and I can't be assed to check it frequently for good deals.
