TBM wrote:...Does a fucking sweat bug or no commentary make the game unplayable? Absolutely fucking not. Yeah, it sucks that commentary isn't working for some people, but you're being exceptionally petty when you say you're selling the game because of a sweat bug...
I agree. Thus words are look a bit pathetic. "If they doesn't fix sweat bug I'll sell this game", "If they will not add Sheed I'll not ever buy this game", "What, there are no hypothetic '65-'66 Knick? The game is crap, f**k 2K I'll never give you a dollar!!!!". From several users we can see this the same words year by year. "The game is so buggy I'll never buy this game anymore". The next year "Dame the game is buggy again! I'll never ever buy this game. And they should refund all my spent money from previous years". The next year the same. In Russia we have folksay: "Mice were crying, hurt themselves, but continued to eat (or sometime to f**k) a cactus".
Yes there are a bugs. Yes they hurt gameplay a bit sometime. Yes companies should test the game before release date and not after. But we have this situation and you can either accept this, get some patience and send bug reports or not accept and wait 'till first or second patch and not be so pathetic. And if U said that you never ever buy this game - be the man and keep your words.

Its hilarious that you say you will sell the game because of some minor bugs but we all know you wont and just be playing it on the low. I personally would waaaay rather play a game a couple days early WITH minor bugs than to wait a couple more weeks to have a sweat filled game.

No i'm sorry, devs (or more precisly business guys from video game industry) are always more taking people for beta tester.... either you sell the game 20 bucks and pre released it in alpha (like insurgency2 for exemple or killing floor2) and make it better with community, either you sell it 60 but it works, and on every supported plateform...(COD, BF2)
You can't blame a community to be unhappy with a product you bought who works 70%, 60% and just saying...yeah dudes wait we fix it soon.In any other business you could do that, ty to sell a 60% working car one day full price...
If you use community as beta tester, you must agree to apologize, make a move, freebies listen what they ask... or you do your game in your corner, and buy it who wants it...

I'm not allowed to discuss any patch schedule, it's not my place to do so. I love this game as much as any of you do, and I want to see every issue fixed, because it bothers me when things slip through. It's tough to see a year's work be invalidated in forums and comments sections because of issues like this, but I understand the frustration, because I was in the community just a few years ago. Hell, my whole venture into modding started because of a bug.
I know this is all general talk and that you want specifics, are we working on a patch, when is it coming out and what does it fix. I can't give you that, but I can tell you that we haven't stopped working hard for a second to try and fix the most bothersome of issues. Once there's something solid to announce, I'll let you know.
I just hope the missing Player Of The Game higlights + Box Score highlights are one of those things. Iv submitted a ticket about it , provided all info even recorded a vid and havent heard from the guy for 3 days, while ticket remains open.

Stoeck are perfect!
And remember a important fact guys, this game have a NEW EDITION every year, so, it´s a 12 months game. With WAIT THE PATCH style, we play a complete game for 9 or 8 months, it´s just NOT FAIR.

I thought they have server support for 24 months.

I too paid a little extra for the pre-order only to find I can't play, because Playvision isn't working. I don't know the plays. My team stands around doing nothing, so I have to set random picks until they start moving again.
Pay extra for pre-order/pre-release, play a week or two after release date isn't a good plan.

I have this game on ps4 and i have the hard copy and not the digital one. Anyway, i dont wanna play anymore coz of the sweat bug? Yup. It destroys the experience. I used to patch on pc too before to fix the sweat problems of players from 2k12-2k14. I spent countless hours to make the game look better than it was on pc coz i want it that way. If 2k should have done their jobs in the first place i think i might have enjoyed playing the game more time than fixing the problems like sweats, reflections etc. Now since im on ps4 now, i cant mod to fix those kind of things and i just want to enjoy the game i love playing since the first 2k series. Im just disappointed that how can they not test things like that before releasing a game. Yeah maybe you will say its a simple bug. It might be to you. But its a big deal for me. Last time i checked, if they sell a full game then it should be a full game well tested and not like a beta version. We are players and not supposed to be beta testers.

Steam users reviews for 2k16:
41% Positive
59% Negative
This is the worst % for 2k game since game exists on PC plataform.

Most of them complaining about keyboard support (or the lack of it) when it clearly states gamepad in minimal requirements...
Fri Oct 02, 2015 12:05 am
no one (even TBM) said that we should shut up and be happy that we have new game from 2K and stop complaining. but someone might be less pathetic

btw I'm also a bit disappointed in this game (weird storyline in MC, a lot of minor bugs etc.) but I'm not arguing that "I'll newer buy this game" or "I'll sell it because there is no sweat" 'cuz I know that I'll buy it next year if it'll be available on PC. it's looks a bit schoolish IMHO.

This. I never made excuses for the bugs. They should be fixed promptly, but all this stuff about how the game is unplayable and they're gonna sell the game is childish.

Don't bother arguing with stupidity. It can only bring you down to it's level. If people are so stupid that they can't read, then you think you're going to be able to have a rational debate with them?

I'm not arguing, I just hate cherry picking facts to suit one's argument.

The sweat thing also botters me, I am all into TV simulation but I will be waiting patiently for a patch. But about the gamepad...I know a good joystick it's not too cheap, but it's not too expensive either. People with 2000 $ rigs are complaining they can't play the game on keyboard...People should get a gamepad, you use it for almost every game ( I personally don't use it only for shooters). It's like complaining a game needs 8GB of RAM to run smoothly, but you only have 2GB. You need to upgrade your rig. That's how I see a gamepad. An upgrade to my PC to have the best possible experience. It's your choice if you want it wireless, with leds, with ultra vibration and so on and you want to spend the extra money, or you want the basic wired gamepad with no vibration. Just get one, it's essential.
Or just stick to click and point games like dota. I can't remember any sports game being playable on the keyboard since FIFA 2008 anyways.

I can recommend Xbox One Controller, if people don't mind the price.
After years of using cheap crappy gamepads I was really surprised how big the difference is.
Another advantage is that wireless dongle is coming soon and you it works out of box with Windows 10 and has semi-official drivers for Windows 7.

I can see both sides to this argument. It can be really frustrating. You ask yourself how some of these bugs got past the QA guys at 2K. I mean really? Nobody noticed that there were no "icons" in "Icon Passing"? Nobody noticed the commentators were not commentating? But something we need to keep in mind is that their development cycle is pretty small compared to other games not released on an annual basis. I'm not really mad at 2K for some of the new bugs found in 2K16, every game has bugs. It's inevitable.
But, Having said that, I'm quite upset at the fact that 2K16 still has some of the same bugs from 2K15. In the default sound settings the commentary is hard to hear and the crowd is too loud. I make custom adjustments to the sound levels in the options menu and as soon as the next game starts it resets back to "Default". When changed to the custom settings, they are the same values as default or they are all turned all the way down(Set To Zero). So then I have to put them where I want them again. When Doris Burke does her interviews the sound again changes on its own. I have already had to manually adjust these settings more than 100 times. That really sucks after having to adjust them in 2K15 thousands of times.
LAST YEAR, I filled out a bug report on the OS forums and on NLSC here:
viewtopic.php?p=1755088#p1755088It was also mentioned in this thread:
viewtopic.php?p=1761573#p1761573The same problem that we are having with 2K16 with the commentary dropping out during the game(Match) is an old bug that was present in last years edition. It only happened for me 1 out of 20 games back then. But now in 2K16 it's happening every other game.
It was reported by Scarface last year here:
viewtopic.php?p=1763746#p1763746My point is that new bugs are to be expected. But old bugs should have been fixed a long time ago. And there should be no reason why blatantly obvious bugs exist at all. Icons, Commentary etc..
Fri Oct 02, 2015 4:23 am
Except you're also missing the point that other people don't have these bugs at all. I have absolutely no problem with commentary cutting out or any problem with icon pass icons, so it's easy to see how it could have slipped in the testing if it's not happening on every PC.
Fri Oct 02, 2015 6:13 am
What's frustrating is paying extra for early access, but still waiting to play three days after release because of stuttering and other issues.

True, but any QA team worth a lick has multiple PC configurations that they can use to test the game. Like I said, bugs are to be expected. But known bugs should be dealt with ASAP. I know sometimes it's hard for the devs to duplicate them in-house. I also know that some bugs are easier to fix than others. I'm just saying that I think they need to step up their game a little on the quality control. I think it will make things easier for them and their customers in the long run. Maybe take some of that Spike Lee money and put it toward a few more testers instead.

columbusbobby23, one quick thing. Making settings changes during a game is implicitly temporary and only for that game. Make them in the front-end before you go into the game and they'll be saved for that mode.

Thank you, that worked. It didn't even occur to me that changes made during a game would be temporary. I went back to 2K15 to see if it worked there also but no luck. But it doesn't matter as I don't plan on going back much. Thanks for the help.
BTW, Thank you for your good work with MyLeague/MyGM.
