Hmmm are commentary and playvision bugs fixed in this patch?

As far as I can tell, Playvision issues remain. I still witness play call after play call where my MyCareer players have no positioning indicator. Specific plays I can recall off the top of my head include: 3-out-2-in, Quick 23, Quick 23 Up 2, and Quick 3 Give 12.

Also, why the heck is Quick 3 Give 12 in Minnesota's Playbook twice? LOL

Of course it is, because I only just finished typing up the news post a little while ago.

Feels like a very restrained patch, like they only included what they "had to". Might be last patch of note before 2K17.

With that in mind and considering the development cycle, might be time to start an "NBA 2K17 Wishlist" thread.

Yeah, no performance boost for me. The average FPS actually got worse by 2 to 5 fps.

Performance still sucks with 290 after patch 4. It's insane that it worked well for the first two patches (and out of the box) but got way worse after the third one.

So it's either turning down quite a few details to get 60fps (40-45fps when changing camera), or downloading that pirate version (some guy at "PC Crash Reports" thread said there was patch 2 for it) as Steam doesn't allow to downgrade its version, and play it 60fps maxed but with bugs and no online/custom rosters from modders. I'll obviously play with a lower configuration but 2K17 will get someone else's money, not mine.

I will not be one of those persons, but some people were srsly thinking about focusing their passion for sports game towards another sport, like NFL or soccer


Edit for my last post : I don't know if anyone is reading this from the 2k team, but sometimes during the game I get smooth 60 fps gameplay for a couple of minutes, even during changing of cameras, two minutes later, it gets laggy again. For some arenas the lag is better, for other arenas it looks like my game is going in slow mo from time to time. In between quarter highlights are still laggy no matter what.

No, not really. I didn't buy 2K15 last year (nor 14) but bought FIFA 15 instead and it was fun to play, especially coming from playing 2K series (since 360's 2K7) and its laggy as hell online. I used to buy 2K for years but stopped doing it after one game (I don't remember which) that was full of bugs, including replays that didn't work not even once which was no big deal like the contracts bug that ruined everything, but it was something completely unacceptable and after promising a patch they ended up not releasing any. So if they continue launching games that are not complete or poorly optimized, I just don't buy them. Thank god modders are doing a hell of a job (main reason I didn't get 2K15 was the lack of modding) and they are improving the game to another level, but if it weren't for them I'd stick with other games.

About being it outdated... I just download mods (Albys roster/sliders @2K plus cyberfaces / Ariel's mods @FIFA) and can wait with no problem. In fact it tends to be better, as 2K17 won't have mods by its launch, when I play the most.

And still they didn't return the replay free cam angle

Can someone explain what the replay free cam angle is? People keep talking about it but I have no idea what it is.

TBM, bro before the 1st patch we can move the replay cam anywhere to get a awesome screenshots and video capture

What do you mean by replay cam? Is it the After Basket replays or just in the settings?

Replay cam angle guys, for capture some angles for video mix and screenshots.

Before Patch #2 we have all angles available to move, now, it´s no more available.

Point taken. Haven't tried that at all (probably because I'm modding the game 98% of the time ) but it would be cool to have that back.
