10000 VC for pre-ordering

Anyone get theirs yet? I wonder if it's specific to Green Man gaming (where I bought the game from) or from 2k for pre-ordering.

No it's a common issue. 2K support told me that I should:
1) Completely exit from the Steam client
2) Run the command line (Windows key + r)
3) Type in 'steam://flushconfig' (without ' '), and press Enter
4) Reboot PC.
5) Run Steam.exe from the installation folder (usually "C:\program files (x86)\Steam", in my case it's "E:\Games\Steam"), not from the lnk from desktop.

It's not the decision for me but maybe someone finds it useful.

I have same issue. Mine was pre-ordered directly through Steam, no 10,000 VC

I also didnt receive any VC. I was also expecting 35,000VC on my 2k15 since it was stated in my DLC items in steam that it was already installed but still I dont received my 35k VC.

I contacted GMG and they said that the pre-order bonuses will be activated when the game officially comes out.

You can also try this:

If you can see the pre-orders in your DLc section of the game on steam, please try verifying your game's cache:
· Load Steam
· From the Library section, right-click on the game and select “Properties” from the menu
· Select the “Local files” tab and click the “Verify integrity of game cache” button
· Steam will match the local files to the cloud files, and fix any errors it encounters

Did not work for me though. I think the problem is that the pre-order bonuses come in form of a DLC but the game is not "officially released" so that is the reason they are not activated. Those who got their pre-order bonuses in form of a locker code should not have a problem with it. Check on steam if the pre-order bonuses are in form of a DLC, if they are there is probably nothing you can do but wait for tuesday.

to recive the 35K for nba 2k15 you need to run the game in it will show you the CD-KEY in a pop up window (or find it in the steam libery of the game)
in you write it down in the LOCKER CODE in 2k15...

Can't find the CD key anywhere, even in the in-game Steam overlay. Hopefully it'll pop up tomorrow.

If you look on Steam "Pre-order content" is under DLC and checked. It's probably just not marked to unlock early.

Mad Max had something similar where they accidentally didn't mark one of the pre-order DLC's to unlock at the midnight release but at some later date when they would sell it. Had to patch it like a day or two after release.

I just booted the game and got the CD-Key popup as if it was new game. Entered that into the Locker Code menu and am celebrating the night away with my amazing Ryan Hollins (2KTV! yay!), Wilson Chandler, and Enes Kanter.......yay

I got mine as well. How were your my team packs? They promised us emerald playes and yet now i will enjoy my Pierre Jackson and Dion Waiters instead

EDIT: Actually they are emerald players, the problem is i got the really shitty ones so Pierre Jackson who i already got in the started pack, but lucky for me he is a bronze player with a 75 rating as an emerald which is great, Dion Waiters who for some reason has a 73 rating, and Payton Siva with a 62 rating... hopefully you guys did better

I saw some guys pulling out decent gold cards. I don't have too much luck with packs so nice silver player will make it. Let's hope that preorder bonus works right now for everyone.

i have manage to claim my 2k16 pre-order stuff but my 35k VC for 2k15 seems to have a problem. I have entered gazillion times the product key for the 2k15 but always says invalid code (which i am sure that i have entered the correct one). Is there any way I can contact 2k or steam for this problem?
