Steam download reset

I have quiet a slow ADSL connection and for me downloading this game take days. I've downloaded 18 GB so far and this morning I see that steam had reset my download and was back to 100 mb downloaded. I'm furious , maybe it's cos the 88 mb update that you mentioned in other thread but it's just a bad software the one that cancel 18 GB of data cos of 88 new mb on the full thing, and I just stopped downloading at all since I don't want every day to start all over again... maybe my experience with this game has already ended , but I regret I have never been the guy who download cracked games, if this is the service ppl get for buying the legal thing.... sorry but I'm just angry and frustrated

its the update, go to your downloads section on steam and click "auto-updates enabled" below the play button and select "only update this game when i launch it" till you finish downloading

Tx mate,,,, that helps me a lot but if I knew it before..... now I m still at 6 GB downloaded and instead I was at almost 20 before this ..... tx anyway for zour help now I ll try again....

hey, you gotta feel bad for the guy. 20 GB in and then wham! Ruined because of an 80 mb patch .

Yes I actually think that my rant was more than justified, while there are rants like the one Andrew mentioned in his Friday 5 that are just petulant. For me downloading 20 GB took a while, and I actually regret buying this game on Steam, next time I think I'll spend 70 Euros instead of 39 and buy it for PS4. The reasons I bought the PC one is saving 30 Euros of course but also hoping that some URB or UBR will be made this time, but we have all doubts about it.
